This dish combines baby potatoes, carrots and chicken in a creamy ranch sauce made from heavy cream, cream of chicken soup and ranch seasoning. This is a such a crowd pleaser.
I love easy dinners that are full of flavor and that everyone loves. This dinner is easy and I like that I can just throw in the slow cooker and this Creamy Ranch Chicken is always a favorite.

Whenever I find a dinner that everyone in my house likes that is amazing because I have some picky eaters but they love this chicken! And for it to be in the slow cooker? That’s a double win!
This Slow Cooker Ranch Chicken is full of rich and savory flavor. This is a filling dish that is budget-friendly. The base of this dish is chicken breasts which are always a more affordable option and we serve it over rice, mashed potatoes or noodles also very budget-friendly.
This Ranch Chicken is full of flavor from the tender chicken, potatoes, carrots and a creamy ranch sauce. It goes perfectly over a bed of white rice or noodles which absorbs all that delicious sauce. Plus the leftovers just get better and better!
This Creamy Ranch Chicken is always such a family favorite, the ranch flavor is always a favorite with my kids. You can also stretch it and customize it by adding different veggies like cauliflower or broccoli.

Can I substitute the chicken?
Yes, you can use cubed up pork roast, or any boneless cut of chicken you have on hand.
What should I serve this with?
This is amazing over a bed of white rice with some roasted broccoli. I also like to serve it with some of these Homemade Hawaiian Rolls on the side.

● Boneless skinless chicken breasts- You can use chicken thighs or chicken tenderloins if you like.
● Baby potatoes- I halve these but you can leave them whole or even cut up larger potatoes into little pieces.
● Baby carrots- I like that I can just dump the carrots in the slow cooker but you can use whole carrots and cut them up.
● Dry ranch dressing mix- You want to just use the dry mix, not a liquid version.
● Cream of chicken soup- You can use cream of celery or cream of onion or mushroom if you prefer.
● Heavy cream- This makes the dish creamy and rich.
How to make Slow Cooker Ranch Chicken

Place your veggies into the bottom of your slow cooker.

Arrange the chicken on top.

In a bowl combine the ranch mix, cream of chicken soup and heavy cream.

Pour this mixture over the chicken and potatoes, stirring it slightly into the veggies below.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours until the potatoes and carrots are tender and the chicken is cooked through.

Ingredients
- ● 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ● 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- ● 2 cups baby potatoes
- ● 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry ranch dressing mix
- ● 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- ● 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Place your veggies into the bottom of your slow cooker.
2. Arrange the chicken on top.
3. In a bowl combine the ranch mix, cream of chicken soup and heavy cream.
4. Pour this mixture over the chicken and potatoes, stirring it slightly into the veggies below.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours until the potatoes
and carrots are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
6. Serve!
Notes
● Store leftovers in airtight container in the fridge for up 3 days.
● You can switch up to the veggies to whichever you like.
● Change the cream of chicken soup to cream of mushroom, celery or onion.
● You can thicken the sauce with a cornstarch gravy if you prefer.
