It reminds me so much of the holidays and it is so delicious with it’s rich chocolate coffee flavor and hint of peppermint. Now I can make them right at home! A little coffee, milk, sugar, cocoa powder and of course peppermint all mixed up with ice gives you the perfect winter drink!
We all know how popular Starbucks is and for good reason, their drinks are delicious! While I love a good hot coffee like anyone there are sometimes when I just want something that just reminds me of the holidays and their Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino always fits the bill.
Their Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino is a flavorful, cold, chocolatey, peppermint drink that is my favorite. The mix together creates an addicting holiday drink you will love. Now it is also no secret that Starbucks is not the most budget-friendly place so I love recreating their fabulous drinks at home for pennies! This drink only has a few simple ingredients! You can make this Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino all week longer for cheaper than one costs at the drive-thru!
I love this because it is totally customizable right at home. You can add fresh cookie crumbles or crushed peppermint or top with peppermint whipped cream. You can even play around with the ratios, maybe you want yours with more peppermint or less, totally up to you.
I like to make a large cup of this Starbucks Pink Drink and sip on it all day, it is so flavorful and always hits the spot. I love to make it at home so I can make it with caffeine or without depending on my mood. This is my favorite drink all holiday season long.

You can! Use any coffee you like, you can brew fresh coffee, use a cold brew, blonde coffee or decaf coffee.
What kind of milk can I use?
You can use absolutely any milk you prefer. Oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, vanilla almond milk, skim milk. You can even use cream if you like.
Can I add anything else to this?
You can add crushed up cookies, peppermint whipped cream, crushed peppermint candies, candy canes or chocolate shavings.
INGREDIENTS
- Coffee- You want this cooled. You can use regular coffee or decaffeinated coffee.
- Milk- Use your favorite milk. You can use oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, whole milk.
- Sugar- You can use stevia or any other sugar replacement if you like.
- Unsweetened cocoa powder- This makes the drink nice and chocolatey.
- Peppermint extract- This gives it the drink it’s signature peppermint flavor. You can also use
peppermint syrup.
- Ice- I like to use crushed ice to get a headstart.
- Chocolate syrup, whipped cream, mini chips, garnish
Gather your ingredients.
Line your cup with chocolate sauce.
Add your ice to the blender.
Stir up the mix.
Blend and serve!
How to make this Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino

- In a bowl combine the coffee, milk, sugar, cocoa powder and peppermint extract.
- Whisk until well combined.
- In your blender add the ice and the coffee mixture.
- Blend until the ice is crushed and slushy.
- Optional, drizzle chocolate syrup onto the insides of your 2 cups.
- Pour in the frappuccino mix.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and mini chocolate chips.

- 2 cups brewed, cooled coffee
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3 cups ice
- Chocolate syrup, whipped cream, mini chips, garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl combine the coffee, milk, sugar, cocoa powder and peppermint extract.
- Whisk until well combined.
- In your blender add the ice and the coffee mixture.
- Blend until the ice is crushed and slushy.
- Optional, drizzle chocolate syrup onto the insides of your 2 cups.
