This Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork is better than take out!!  Tender, flash fried pieces of pork get mixed with bell pepper, onion, pineapple and a sweet and savory sauce.  Anytime you want a delicious dinner pop this in the slow cooker and you will have a family favorite in no time.

There is nothing I love more an easy copycat takeout dinner that I can just throw in the slow cooker that everyone will love and this pork fits the bill.

I love that I can just throw everything in the slow cooker and have a delicious, flavorful dinner that tastes better than takeout.  Whenever I find a dinner that everyone in my house eats I get excited!  And for it to be in the slow cooker? That’s a double score!

This pork is perfectly tender and the sauce is amazingly delicious. This cooks up in a flavorful sauce of soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, brown sugar and vinegar.

I love that you can customize this to your family’s taste, make it spicier, sweeter, add your favorite veggies, you can totally make this recipe your own.

Can we also take a minute to talk about how budget-friendly this dinner is?  Everyone is feeling the pinch with the grocery bill right now and you can’t get much cheaper than a little pork over rice. This is so much more affordable than picking up the phone and ordering out again.  So this is a fabulous dinner when you are trying to save a few pennies.

Next time you want a copycat takeout dinner even the pickiest kids will love throw these ingredients together and let the slow cooker take care of the rest!

I promise your whole family will love this Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork.

You can add red pepper flakes or sriracha to give this a kick.
