These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are a great, easy dinner.

These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are the perfect weeknight dinner.  Full of flavor and easy these little sliders are always a family-friendly hit.  Soft slider buns are stuffed with ground beef, peppers, onions and cheese before getting baked to perfection.

There is nothing I love more an easy dinner that comes together in minutes and that everyone will eat.  With picky eaters I need all the easy dinners I can find.

These cheesesteak sliders are one of my easy go to dinners that I can just whip together quickly and I know everyone will enjoy.  Just a few ingredients and a couple minutes and I have a delicious dinner or lunch for everyone.

These are also great for parties and get-togethers.  They make a great appetizer, lunch or dinner.

These philly sliders are perfect all year round. The beef cooks up with peppers and onions and mixed with a little cheese to make them super cheesy. I love that you can customize this to your family’s taste, make it spicy, add your favorite seasonings, change out the cheese, you can totally make this recipe your own. The philly cheesesteak filling is piled on soft slider buns with more provolone and gets topped with butter and sesame seeds and baked until everything is golden and the cheesy is melty.

Can we also take a minute to talk about how budget-friendly this dinner is?  Everyone is feeling the pinch with the grocery bill right now and you can’t get much cheaper than ground beef and a few other ingredients.  So this is a great dinner when you are trying to save a few pennies.

Next time you want a family-friendly dinner even the pickiest kids pop these sliders in the oven and dinner will be ready in no time!

I promise your whole family will love these Philly Cheesesteak Sliders.

Yes, you can use any ground protein you like.  Ground chicken, ground turkey or ground pork will also work in this.  You could use chopped chicken tenderloins too.

What should I serve this with?

I love these with a salad, fries or some mac and cheese but it is also great served with these Slow Cooker Cowboy Beans.

Can I make this spicy?

You can add red pepper flakes, jalapenos, green chiles or even sriracha to give this a kick.

Ingredients used

  • Ground Beef – I like to use lean ground beef for this recipe.
  • Frozen Peppers and Onions –  You can use fresh but I think the frozen cooks down faster.
  • Garlic Salt – This gives the meat a little flavor.
  • Provolone Cheese –  A classic and melts perfectly in this dish.
  • Slider Buns – Hawaiian rolls are what I use but use any slider rolls you like.
  • Butter – You can use salted or unsalted.
  • Sesame Seeds – These add a little crunch to the top.

    1. Those look delicious! Can’t wait to try them! (I think a step between 8 & 9 is missing, to top meat with 6 more slices of cheese, maybe?)
