These delicious Big Mac Egg Rolls are quick and full of flavor!

These Big Mac Egg Rolls are my new favorite thing ever! They taste amazing and have those Big Mac elements all in a crispy fried egg roll. These make an amazing appetizer, quick lunch or fast dinner. These are filled with ground beef, onion, seasonings. Ketchup, mustard, cheese and pickle. These have all that Big Mac flavor in a delicious crispy bite!

There is nothing I love more than an easy appetizer, especially one you can also make into a quick lunch or dinner and these little Big Mac appetizers are amazing!

These are a hit with kids and adults, everyone loves them because they are delicious and no one can eat just one.

These of course are great for a party but I really enjoy making them for a delicious and quick dinner.  I know egg rolls don’t always sound like they will be fast and easy but I promise this is a really quick recipe and once you make them the first time you will be making them again and again!

I use lean ground beef, american cheese, pickles and burger toppings.  This gets rolled up into an egg roll wrapper and then quickly fried until golden brown and crispy.   Then you make that secret Big Mac Sauce for dipping.

I love that you can customize these how you like.  Make them however you like your Big Mac, leave out the pickles, add extra pickle, it is up to you! Switch up the cheese and add your favorite, pepperjack cheese would be fabulous in this.

These can also be made in the air fryer if you don’t feel like pan frying the egg rolls.

These are always a hit whether you make them for a party or just a quick dinner.  You just whip up that quick sauce while they are cooking and everything is done!

So next time you are looking for a flavorful quick appetizer or dinner just make a batch of these Big Mac Egg Rolls.  I promise everyone will love them.

RECIPE FAQS

Can I use leftover hamburgers?

You can! I used ground beef for this recipe but if you have leftover burgers just chop them up and use them here.  You can also use those quick cooking frozen hamburgers too!

Can I substitute other cheeses?

Sure you can!  Swiss, mozzarella, cheddar and even pepperjack are all delicious in this.  While traditional Big Macs have American cheese you can certainly use your favorite.

What should I serve this with?

Make up a batch of the Big Mac Sauce for dipping and just serve these with some thin crispy fries for that true McDonalds feel.

How can I air fry these?

Just prepare them as above but you will want to brush them with some vegetable oil before adding them in a single layer in the air fryer and fry at 400 for 6 minutes, flip and air fry another 6 minutes.  Air fryers do vary so make sure you are checking yours.

Ingredients

  • Lean ground beef- I love to use lean ground beef because it is less greasy but use what you have on hand.
  • Dried minced onion-  This is the onions that McDonalds use on their Big Macs and they are fabulous and full of flavor but if you prefer you can certainly use fresh onion.
  • Yellow mustard- Don’t use any fancy mustard here you just need good old yellow mustard!
  • Ketchup- Whichever ketchup you prefer will work great in this recipe.
  • Worcestershire sauce- Worcestershire sauce adds great depth of flavor to these egg rolls.
  • Egg roll wrappers-  You can usually find these in the produce section of your grocery store.
  • American cheese- You need some yellow American cheese for these egg rolls.
  • Chopped dill pickles or hamburger pickles-  These give a ton of flavor to these egg rolls.
  • Sesame seeds- Sprinkle these on top when they come out of the fryer.
  • Vegetable oil for frying- You can use any light-flavored oil for frying.
  • Mayonnaise- This is the base for the dipping sauce so use your favorite.

  1. Sounds yummy! Could you do these in an air fryer? I am a newbie to the air fryer game and would love it if these could be done that way.

    1. You can do these in the air fryer! I would spray them with some spray oil and air fry them at 400 for about 8-10 minutes flipping once halfway through. Air fryers can vary so I would start checking them at 8 minutes :)
