Sharing is caring!

These Air Fryer Apple Cider French Toast Sticks are such a great twist on classic french toast stick with perfect Fall flavor from the apple cider. These come out perfect in the air fryer.

Okay so the first thing I ever made in my air fryer was frozen french toast sticks.  They came out amazing and that was when I fell in love with my air fryer.  I wanted to make some of my own french toast stick creations since they are my kid’s favorite breakfast and they ask for them all the time.

It’s fall so I wanted to add a Fall kick to these and apple cider is perfect in this recipe.  I love that I can make these right in the air fryer which makes them a quick fix for any busy morning.

The Apple Cider French Toast sticks are great sprinkled with a little powdered sugar, a little more apple cider sugar mix and dip them in maple syrup, but a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar is just as good.

Can I double this recipe?

You can double or triple this recipe to fit your family’s needs.

Can I substitute already made apple cider?

It is really best to use the powdered apple cider mix, that way you can also use it as a sprinkle and the flavor is more concentrated.

Where do I find the powdered apple cider mix?

You can find it in any grocery store right with the hot chocolate mixes.

I don’t have an air fryer can I make these in a pan?

Of course!  Just add a little butter to frying pan and cook these over medium heat, flipping once.

Do I have to make these into sticks?

You don’t have to, but they do get more crispy if they are cut into sticks first.

My french toast sticks burned!

It is very hard to give an accurate cook time for air fryers because they differ to much!! I would definitely start checking to see if they are ready to flip at 3 minutes until you get a sense of how quick your air fryer will cook these.
