Hey guys!! Today let’s talk about breakfast. Usually, eggs are the first thing that come to people’s minds and eggs are a delicious breakfast staple.
Now if you are like me, you can’t just throw some eggs in a pan, scramble them up and call it breakfast! No, you have to add cheese. Eggs and cheese belong together. I could not bring myself to make scrambled eggs without them, bleh!
So I always make sure to have plenty of my favorite Sargento® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese on hand. I like to pick up the traditional cut variety, it is our favorite!!
Not only is it wonderful in eggs, but it is the best for tacos, salads, quesadillas, mac & cheese… sprinkle it on anything!

Cheesy Ham & Egg Biscuit Cups
- Beat 10 eggs with salt and pepper
- In a medium non-stick skillet melt butter and add in the eggs
- Cook on low until barely set
- Add in cheese and ham
- Press the biscuits into the muffin tin
- Fill with the egg mixture
- Top with more cheese
- Bake until golden brown!
Can I use a different flavor cheese?
I only use Sargento® Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese in my eggs and this recipe because it is wonderful. And while I used sharp cheddar in this recipe, feel free to use their other varieties like swiss or monterey jack. Their shredded pepper jack would be a wonderful way to add a little kick of spice, yum!
Can I use something besides ham?
Sure!! This is a great recipe to use up any leftovers in your fridge. Feel free to use that last bit of bacon in the fridge or the leftover steak from the cook out the other night. You can also make these meatless and just add in some veggies you’ve got kicking around the veggie drawer. These are almost impossible to mess up and can be customized a million ways!!
- 10 eggs beaten
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup Sargento Shredded Cheddar, plus more for topping
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 8 count canned flaky biscuits
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- Preheat oven to 350
- Beat 10 eggs with salt and pepper
- In a large skillet over low heat melt butter and add in eggs.
- Stir the eggs constantly until just barely set.
- Peel flaky biscuit dough into half and place one in each cup of lightly greased
- muffin tin
- Fill each biscuit dough cup with the eggs and top with more cheese
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until dough is golden brown
