My favorite slow cooker for this recipe is this Hamilton Beach one.
Can I use frozen or fresh wings?
You can use either and they will both cook up perfectly! If using frozen your cook time may be a little longer so just keep an eye on them.
What should I serve this with?
We serve these with carrot sticks, celery and of course ranch! But these would be great with a side salad for lunch or some mac and cheese to make it more of a dinner meal.
Can I make this spicier/less spicy?
Sure! Add more hot sauce if you want these spicier. Cut back on the hot sauce and add more brown sugar for a less spicy version.
Ingredients used
● Chicken wings- Fresh or frozen will work in this recipe, I used drums and flats.
● Hot wing sauce- I used Franks because I like the flavor and it is thick. I would suggest using a hot wing sauce as opposed to a hot sauce because wing sauces are thicker but either will work.
● Dry ranch seasoning- don’t make this according to the directions, we are just using it dry straight from the package.
● Brown sugar- this adds a little sweetness and gives it a little glaze.
● Butter- all wings are better with butter.
