I like to serve these on soft butter brioche buns or slider buns but it is also fabulous over rice and baked potatoes. Ingredients used

  • Celery – You can’t have buffalo chicken without celery!  This adds great flavor to the mix.
  • Onion – Onion is a staple in sloppy joes, they add a ton of flavor.
  • Garlic – You can use minced or jarred for this recipe.
  • Lean ground chicken – You could use ground turkey if you prefer.
  • Tomato sauce –  You only need a little bit to create the base of the sloppy joe sauce.
  • Buffalo wing sauce –  Make sure you are using buffalo wing sauce and not just straight hot sauce.

  • Worcestershire sauce – This adds depth and richness to the dish.
  • Green onion – For garnish and I love the pop of flavor you get from them.
  • Hamburger buns –  I like to use sesame seed buns or brioche buns but this is great on slider buns as well.
