I love that I can just throw everything in the slow cooker and have a delicious, flavorful dinner that everyone really enjoys especially in the summer when it is too hot to turn the oven on. Whenever I find a dinner that everyone in my house eats I get excited! And for it to be in the slow cooker? That’s a double win! These are easy to make and use only 6 ingredients.
This chicken just falls apart and is so tender and packs a ton of flavor. It cooks all day in a sauce of chicken broth and Caesar salad dressing! Then you shred it up, add some parm cheese and pile it on soft buns with romaine lettuce for an amazing sandwich.
My favorite part is that you can customize this to your family’s taste, you can make it spicy, add more cheese, or anything your family likes!
We love this on soft buns but it is also so delicious on top of rice, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes or even mac and cheese.
If you want to create a little crouton action for these sandwiches, butter your buns and sprinkle them with garlic salt and parm cheese and toast them up. They take these sandwiches to the next level!

What dressing should I use?
You want to use a good quality dressing because it is where all the flavor comes from. I like to use Ken’s Caesar dressing for this.
Ingredients used
- Boneless skinless chicken breasts- You can also use chicken thighs or pork for this recipe.
- Chicken broth- You can use regular or low sodium.
- Caesar salad dressing- Use your favorite brand.
- Shredded parmesan cheese- I prefer the shredded for this recipe but you could use the grated if you that is all you have on hand.
- Brioche buns- I like brioche buns but you can use whichever you like.
- Romaine lettuce- Romaine is what is traditionally used in Caesar sal
How to make these Slow Cooker Chicken Caesar Sandwiches

- To your slow cooker add the chicken and stock.
- Pour the dressing over the top.
- Place the lid on and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and add 1 cup of the shredded parmesan cheese and stir that in to melt.
- Pile the shredded chicken on the soft buns, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the sandwiches and add romaine lettuce.
- Serve!

Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups caesar salad dressing
- 1 ½ cups shredded parmesan cheese
- 6 brioche buns
- Romaine lettuce
Instructions
- To your slow cooker add the chicken and stock.
- Pour the dressing over the top.
- Place the lid on and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and add 1 cup of the shredded parmesan cheese and stir that in to melt.
- Pile the shredded chicken on the soft buns, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the sandwiches and add romaine lettuce.
- Serve!

- You can freeze this for up to 3 months in a freezer safe bag.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- This is also good wrapped up in a tortilla.
- Crumbled bacon is a great addition to this.
- You can butter and toast your rolls to give them a crouton vibe.
