Glazed Strawberry Cake Bites
Yay!! I have more Valentine’s Day goodies for you!!! These Glazed Strawberry Cake Bites are a snap to make! Not only are they delicious and easy to make, they are also adorable and make a ton!! I usually get about 48 or so out of this recipe which makes them perfect for parties or to hand out of family and friends.
This recipe starts out with a strawberry cake mix, if you’re not down with the cake mix scene feel free to use a from scratch version. The glaze is simple and it coats beautifully! You can add flavoring to the glaze and I added a few drops of pink coloring just to bump up the color even more. Then I sprinkled a few heart sprinkles on top for fun and in no time I had these gorgeous little treats.
The glaze is my favorite part because it coats and dries perfectly and quickly (get those sprinkles on there fast ;) and the glaze helps keep the cake moist, so go ahead and make these a day or two before you need them!
Dean loves these because they are the perfect size for him and everyone else loves them because they are the perfect size just to pop in your mouth!
So this Valentine’s Day share the love and these cake bites with your family!
Glazed Strawberry Cake Bites
Ingredients
Instructions
i assume you used some red food coloring…or if not what? Also top side down would leave marks on the cake top after it was glazed…or maybe bottom side down ( the bottom was the top in the muffin pan…?)
I mentioned in the post that I used a few drops of pink food coloring. You serve the cake bites upside down, so you place them on the cooling rack muffin top down that is also how you serve them.
This is a great idea! I love how they are small bit sizes too. Pinning!
holy moly. those look delicious!
i like cake pops (aren’t those the ones on sticks?), but i have a feeling i’m not coordinated enough to pull those off.
i think i could actually handle these! (pinning)
Lol yes cake pops are the ones on sticks, and they do look intimidating but I actually make a non-bake version using oreos! You can check that out here—> http://www.lifewiththecrustcutoff.com/no-bake-cookies-cream-mummy-pops/
But yes these little cake bites are super easy and they are really yummy! Let me know if you make them and how they turn out :)
Those look such a fun Valentine’s Day dessert that cold really be adapted to any holiday.

Oh how pretty! I think maybe there is a typo on the recipe? You mentioned that it ‘starts with a strawberry cake mix’ but in the recipe it calls for a white cake mix. Just a heads up ;) Dropping by from the Wonderful Wed. Blog Hop. Have a great rest of the week!
Lol yes that is a typo!! Going to fix it now!! Thanks :)
Definitely loving these mini cake bites, how creative. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
