Well, hello there! I am super excited to be guest posting for Parrish today! I have a recipe I’d like to share with you all that will definitely have you wanting to cheat on your New Year’s resolutions! Now, I’m not much of a baker but these babies are fool-proof. They are sooooo easy and will cure any sweet tooth! I found the recipe on Pinterest, the original recipe you can find at KevinAndAmanda.com. I followed it exactly. These little nuggets of happiness will definitely be making many appearances in our home for the years to come… here is what you need:

1 ea              Boxed Yellow Cake Mix
8 oz              Cream Cheese, Softened
1 lbs             Powdered Sugar
1 ea              Stick Butter, melted
3 ea              Eggs
First, set your oven to 300 degrees. You need a 9×13 pan, greased. Mix the cake mix, melted butter and one egg until you get a soft cookie dough consistency. I used my electric hand mixer. Press this into the pan evenly.

Mix the remaining ingredients with hand mixer and spread this over the dough. It is very sticky, do the best you can.

Now, pop into the oven. It took 45 minutes for mine to bake, you want to have a lightly golden top.

I highly recommend letting these cool completely or you will have a big gooey mess when you cut into them. I let them sit overnight and they’re perfect! I cut mine into small squares, they are so rich and decadent you don’t need too much at once. You get a lightly crunchy crust, soft gooey center and yummy brownie like bottom. It’s amazing with a glass of milk or possibly even a Kahlua and cream? Hehe… Thanks so much for reading!!
