Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef is the perfect easy weeknight meal! Full of flavor and just five ingredients, this has become a favorite weekly dinner!
Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef is our new family favorite dinner! It is so full of flavor for something that takes 5 ingredients! I love that I can just pop all the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning and let it cook all day into this amazing beef that is perfect over a bit of white rice.
I created this recipe because I love any sort of Asian beef, Mongolian Beef, Pepper Steak it is all so delicious. I also love using my slow cooker.
I saw a few slow cooker Mongolian beef recipes and decided to try one out. It called for flank steak which everyone always says is so inexpensive. I don’t know where those people shop but I have yet to find some cheap flank steak.
However, I picked up some anyways because my family loves Mongolian Beef. I followed the instructions and cooking time to a T. Dinner time rolled around and when I went to scoop some yummy beef onto our rice it was gone! The flank steak had fallen all apart and not in a good way, I like to have a little something to bite into lol.
Discouraged but determined I decided to create my own recipe.
I love working with stew beef, it is really inexpensive and it gets tender without disappearing into nothing.
I pulled a few ingredients I had on hand and threw them all in the slow cooker and what came out was a mouthwatering Teriyaki Beef that was so full of flavor and addicting!
I served it on heaping mounds of fluffy white rice and my family was in heaven!
I am not kidding when I saw this is on the menu every week. It is so easy, and the ingredients are easy to keep on hand.
Again it is only five ingredients! (not counting the rice) Five ingredients!! And nothing has to be prepped I just dump it all together in the morning in the slow cooker and it just simmers all day filling the house with a delicious aroma that has everyone’s stomach growling by dinner time.
Anytime I put this dinner on my Instagram or Snapchat people always want the recipe, so today I am finally giving it to ya guys!
RECIPE FAQS
Can I use other cuts of beef?
You can try but I don’t vouch for it. Stew beef is very inexpensive, holds its shape while getting super tender and is easy to find. I personally would not try making this with any other cut.
Can I use any teriyaki sauce?
You are more than welcome to use your favorite teriyaki sauce but I recommend Soy Vay Teriyaki Sauce. It is the only brand I have ever used in this recipe so I have no idea how other brands would do in this recipe. Trust me, get the Soy Vay, I love it on everything and it has sesame seeds in it for a little extra flavor.
Can I spice this up?
Absolutely! This is a super family friendly meal, but feel free to add in some red pepper flake, chili sauce or sriracha.
Print this recipe out and stick it on the fridge, save it to Pinterest, share it with your friends, tattoo it on your arm, trust me you are going to want to remember this recipe!

Is it a full 21 oz bottle? Concerned about the sodium and wondering about ways to reduce it.
It is the full bottle, it makes quite a bit so the sodium is spread out a little lol. There are several low sodium teriyaki sauces on the market you could substitute for.
exactly how much green pepper needed..is a cup of each..cup of onion..cup of green peppers..thank you
Yup! You can use one cup of each or a combo of the two to make the 2 cups. Thanks for stopping by!
I could not find Soy Vay in my store. I have to use another brand. The bottles come in a couple different sizes. How many ounces should I use? Thanks
The Soy Vay is about 21 ounces, I would say you’ll be fine using anything from 18-22 ounces.
I want to make Teriyaki chicken breast instead. How long would I cook this in the crock pot using your same recipe that is posted. Please reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you!
I would do 3 hours on high 4-5 on low :)
as I am cutting out sugars (diabetic) what can I use instead of the brown sugar
You could leave it out completely or use a brown sugar substitute, I think Stevia has a brown sugar substitute.
