These Mini Halloween Cheesecakes are so easy to make, so delicious and omg are they super cute!!!!
I love Halloween! I don’t decorate with cobwebs and cauldrons (because my house is already decked out in Fall decor), but I do love creating Halloween themed treats for my kids and our friends and family.
Something about those breezy, chilly nights leading up to Halloween just makes me want to get in the kitchen and create some spooky yummy snacks.
My Mini Halloween Cheesecakes were a cinch to make this week! The black and neon green just scream Halloween while the crust made out of a single Halloween Oreo makes them super delicious and add a pop of orange.
The black and neon green just scream Halloween while the crust made out of a single Halloween Oreo makes them super delicious and add a pop of orange.
These cheesecakes bake up perfectly and only use a few ingredients. You just need cream cheese, eggs, sugar and Oreos. I also used a touch of vanilla for flavor and of course the food coloring.
So many Halloween desserts are orange and black, black and orange and this time I wanted to do something a little different. I picked up neon food coloring and fell in love with the green and knew it would be the perfect color for these mini cheesecakes.
My favorite part of these Mini Halloween Cheesecakes is the crust because it is so simple!! I love making desserts but if I have to crush up graham crackers or roll out pie dough it might make me think twice on a busy day.
That is why I love these cheesecakes so much because the crust is just a single Oreo. You just pop one into each cupcake liner and voila instant delicious crust! I used Halloween Oreos because duhhh these are for Halloween lol
These make a perfect dessert to take to a Halloween party, surprise your coworkers with or to just snuggle on the sofa with one of these and a scary movie!
Ingredients used for these mini Halloween cheesecakes
- Cream cheese
- sugar
- eggs
- Oreos
- vanilla
- Black food coloring
- Neon green food coloring
Now I used neon green food coloring but feel free to use
- Neon Purple
- Neon Pink
- Orange
- Red
- Swirl a few different colors in there!
What food coloring to use?
I used this black gel food coloring since it colors using less but you can certainly just use the black food coloring from the grocery store. For the neon I did just use what the grocery store had which was this McCormick Neon Set
Can I make these a different flavor?
Sure! You can get a little crazy and flavor them up any way you want! Add a little peppermint flavoring or orange! Mix in some melted chocolate to the black cheesecake before baking for a chocolate cheesecake.
