Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies With New Nestlé® Toll House® DelightFulls™

Sharing is caring!

Hey yall!! The holidays are upon us and that means holiday baking and holiday treats!! I love creating lots of holidays sweet bites for us to enjoy on Christmas Eve. I arrange them all on a huge holiday platter and we snack on them after our Christmas Even dinner and then all through Christmas day while opening presents.

I am so excited to see these new Nestlé® Toll House® DelightFulls™ Filled Baking Morsels in the store. They are delicious little morsels stuffed with wonderful fillings like cherry, caramel, mint and peanut butter, yum!!

It seems to me that around the holidays everyone seems to rekindle a love for chocolate covered cherries. It is a gift everyone seems to love to get and give. So since chocolate covered cherries remind me so much of the holidays I decided to make Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies for my holiday treat tray using the Cherry Flavored DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels.

Now when it comes to baking for such a huge crowd I like to take shortcuts, like making these cake mix cookies. Three ingredients to make the cookies and then add in these yummy morsels and you have got a fabulous cookie in no time.

I topped these cookies off with a dollop of hot fudge to hold a cherry in place and make them more festive and these were ready to go.

I could not believe how these little morsels hold so much flavor!! Just one little morsel totally replicates the exact flavor of a traditional chocolate covered cherry. I was blown away! They really made my cookies special and I will be using these DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels in many many more recipes.

1 box chocolate cake mix

2 eggs

a little over 1/3 cup of oil

1 cup Cherry Flavored DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels

Hot fudge

Cherries with the stem

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix the cake mix, oil and eggs together. Add in the morsels and gently stir.

Drop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake 11-13 minutes till done.

Cool.

Spoon a drop of hot fudge on each cookie.

Top each with a cherry.

Serve to your family and friends for the holidays.

The cookies were a hit by the way. People could not get enough of them! It is really the morsels that give these cookies their flavorful punch.

I am so thrilled with these morsels I love everything about them! They are a little larger which I love because hello! that means more chocolate and yummy filling! The flavors are also so rich and it is amazing how much flavor comes out of one morsel.

These new DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels will be taking over my baking cabinet this holiday season and replacing my usual chocolate chips in all my holiday baking. Can you imagine the new twists on old recipes these morsels can achieve? Throw them into your favorite cookie recipes, add them into fudge, decorate your cupcakes with, the possibilities are endless!

I will say though I have gotten in the habit of eating them straight from the bag (shh don’t tell, they are just that good!!)

So how can you use these yummy morsels in your holiday baking? Which flavor are your most excited to try!

The same NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® chocolate you know and love now filled with rich caramel, peanut butter, mint, and cherry flavored filling. Add these new filled baking morsels to your favorite recipes for a special twist on the classic, or try experimenting with them in a recipe you’ve never tried before!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE®. The opinions and text are all mine.
