Hey guys!!! I am so excited it is Fall!!! The air is chilly and crisp, there are pumpkins on everyone’s porches soon to be replaced with Christmas decorations and the stores are filling up with all the Fall and holiday goodies.

My family always eats a lot of ham around the holidays.  We have it for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I am always trying to think of a new way to jazz it up, to make it special.

So while I was soaking in Fall by watching the orange leaves drift down to the ground while sipping my hot apple cider I was struck with inspiration.  Apple Cider Glazed Ham!  A match made in heaven!

Apple Cider Glazed Ham-1

I got right to work making it and I was right, the flavors go together so well!

As much as we loved the ham and the many sandwiches that came after I still had plenty leftover and I did not want it to go to waste especially during soup season when a little ham makes every soup even more delicious.

I was shopping at Costco (my favorite place to be!) and saw their display for the FoodSaver® FM3941 Vacuum Sealing System and the FoodSaver® Bags and Rolls Value Pack and into my basket they went!

I have been wanting a FoodSaver® FM3941 Vacuum Sealing System forever and with the holidays approaching I knew now was the perfect time!

I was so excited to get it home and try it out!  I love shopping at Costco and this was a perfect way to keep my bulk meats and veggies fresh!

I love that has built-in features to easily preserve food in the freezer or refrigerator, built-in, easy to use Fresh Handheld Sealer makes refrigerator preservation fast and easy in addition to keeping food fresh in the freezer with airtight vacuum seal bags and rolls. Making and cutting bags is easy with dedicated roll storage and a built-in cutter. Perfectly marinate meat and fish in minutes, not hours using the Quick Marinate Mode

System includes vacuum seal bags, vacuum zipper bags and containers designed to work together with vacuum sealers for optimal performance.

The FoodSaver® Bags and Rolls Value Pack was a must have and such a great deal! Multi-layer, BPA-free vacuum-seal bags are flexible enough to hug food and seal effectively without gaps. They are best for long-term freezer storage, blocking out air and helping to prevent freezer burn.

I had mine up and sealing in minutes! It was so easy to use!

Food Saver-4

I have a bad habit of buying too much food and not using it up before it goes bad but with the FoodSaver® my food can stay fresh up to 5x longer than my old way of just using zipper bags or plastic containers which I would have to throw away after they got moldy, bleh.

Now I will save so much time and money by preventing waste and being able to buy more in bulk, plus that quick marinate makes dinner come together in minutes instead of marinating for hours!

Food Saver-5

You have to head to Costco and pick one up for yourself and with those prices you can pick a few up for gifts!

The FM3941 Vacuum Sealing System will be $40 OFF in November (must have Costco membership).

FoodSaver® Bags and Rolls Value Pack will be $10 OFF in November (must have Costco membership)

I put my leftover ham in the bag and it took just seconds to seal it! I sealed half to put in the fridge for more sandwiches and froze the other half to make an amazing 15 Bean Soup for the first snow we get.

It is so easy to use!

Just place your food into one of the bags and place the end of the bag into the channel.

Then press vac/seal.

Food Saver-10

That’s all!!

Food Saver-6

After it is sealed just turn the switch to open and you are all done!

I am in love and cannot wait to seal all the things and I hope you guys pick up on for yourselves, they are life changing!!
