This is such an easy recipe. You just melt the chocolate with the canned sweetened condensed milk and voila fudge. Stir in the gum drops and add sprinkles and you have a quick delicious sweet treat. I love fudge recipes like this because they are simple and always come out perfect! No double boiler or candy thermometer needed for this recipe!

Maybe it is just me but when I was younger my grandma would always get these Brach’s nougat candies which were essentially white nougat with gumdrop pieces mixed in and they were our favorite! They are hard to find nowadays but this fudge tastes just like it! And this recipe is so easy with it’s simple ingredients.
You can make a big batch of this and set it out on your dessert table but it also makes a perfect present. You can fill up cellophane bags with this white chocolate fudge and hand them out to the kids in your family or give away as treats to your guests and loved ones. Who doesn’t like getting candy on Valentine’s Day?!

Ingredients you need
- Bag of white chocolate chips- You can use white chocolate chips, white almond bark or white candy melts. They will all produce a great fudge.
- Sweetened condensed milk- This adds richness to the fudge and helps keep the fudge soft. Make sure you are getting sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk, they are not the same thing!
- Gum drops- You can use any gum drops you like, I love to use red and pink Dot’s candy for this recipe but you can use spiced gum drops, fruity gum drops, any kind you prefer. I like to use red gumdrops and pink gumdrops to make this Valentine’s themed. You can use red and green gumdrops to make a christmas fudge recipe.
- Valentine’s Sprinkles- I like to use the tiny little round sprinkles for this fudge but you can use any kind that you like. You could also use heart shaped sprinkles too!
Gather your ingredients
Melt the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
Melt it all together.
Add the gumdrops.
Cool and slice!
How to make this Valentine’s Gumdrop Fudge

- Line a 9×9 inch square pan with foil or parchment paper. You can spray it with non-stick cooking spray if you like.
- In a medium saucepan over medium low heat add your chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
- Stir until all melted and smooth, do not let this burn or cook too high as it
- will turn the chocolate a tan color instead of white.
- Once all the chocolate chips are melted remove the pan from the heat.
- Stir the gum drops into the fudge mixture.
- Pour the sweet white fudge into your prepared 9×9 baking dish and smooth out.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours up to overnight.
- Remove the fudge from the pan once chilled and slice into small squares using a sharp knife. You can cut the squares larger or smaller depending on your preference. Serve these at room temperature.
- Store in an air-tight container for up to a week.
Can I use any other candy?
Yes! While I use Dot’s Candy for my gumdrops you can use spiced gumdrops, fruity gumdrops, the gumdrops with the sugar on the outside, any will work in this easy fudge recipe.
Can I use white almond bark?
Of course! It melts beautifully and creates a perfect creamy vanilla fudge. You can also add a little splash of vanilla extract if you like.
How to store the leftovers?
Just store this valentine’s day fudge in an airtight container for up to a week.
How should I serve this Valentines Day Fudge?
I like keeping a plate of it out around Valentine’s Day. I also package up individual servings for handing out to guests or my kids on Valentine’s. It makes a great gift!

- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk1-1/2 cups red and pink gumdrops (Dots candy)
Instructions
- Line a 9x9 inch square pan with foil or parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium low heat add your chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
- Stir until all melted and smooth, do not let this burn or cook too high as it
- will turn the chocolate a tan color instead of white.
- Once all the chocolate chips are melted remove the pan from the heat.
- Stir in the gum drops until just mixed in.
- Pour the fudge into your prepared 9x9 pan and smooth out.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours up to overnight.
- Remove the fudge from the pan once chilled and slice into bite size
- squares. You can cut the squares larger or smaller depending on your preference.
Notes
- You can also use almond bark instead of chocolate chips.
- I used Dots candies that I cut in half but you can use regular gumdrops or even spiced gumdrops.
- You want to work pretty quickly once the chocolate has melted before it firms back up.
- I let the fudge sit out after chilling for a bit to make it easier to cut.
- To get pretty squares trim off the rough edges first.
- Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week and in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Let the fudge come back to room temperature before serving.
