This Sheet Pan Ham Steak Dinner is my favorite new dinner!  So flavorful and everything cooks in one pan in the oven.  The potatoes and green beans get crispy and roasted.  The ham cooks up with a flavorful glaze of honey, brown sugar and italian dressing mix.  This comes together so quick and is always a hit!  A whole ham dinner on one sheetpan.

There is nothing I love more during the holidays than a perfectly glazed ham!  But sometimes I just want a quick ham dinner and an easy dinner recipe. One with all the trimmings of course but made super fast.  This Sheet pan Ham is sure to impress with a perfectly sweet and sticky glaze, roasted potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans.  The sweet glaze is made from brown sugar, honey and dry italian dressing mix which gives this ham such a fabulous flavor.

This is also an easy ham to make, the oven does most of the work for you.  You just pour a simple glaze over it while it bakes and the potatoes and green beans cook right along side it! The glaze for the ham is so flavorful and delicious and the the veggies are perfectly seasoned and get so crispy and tender.

This ham steak recipe is an entire meal on one pan and it is so easy to make a complete meal in no time!

This Sheet pan Ham Steak Dinner is such a show stopper and great for a holiday meal or just a regular weeknight dinner. It is also a great affordable dinner, potatoes and green beans are cheap and ham steaks are a much more affordable option than a big spiral ham.  This is an easy way to make a ham dinner without having to cook an entire ham.  This sheet pan recipe even has the side dishes baked right at the same time.

Of course, how could I share this recipe without talking about how delicious it is!  The flavors in this ham are simple but flavorful.  Dry italian dressing mix, honey and brown sugar all come together to create an exceptionally flavored ham with a fabulous brown sugar glaze.

Did I mention that your house will smell heavenly while this is cooking?  You will want to make it just for the smell alone lol!  I use the same italian dressing mix on the veggies too.

I love to make sheet pan dinners, they are so easy, everything cooks on one pan making cleanup a breeze.

This ham is tender and always cooks perfectly.  It is fabulous the day of cooking but of course the leftovers make amazing sandwiches so don’t worry if you have leftovers!  I love using leftover ham to make these Ham and Swiss Croissants

I love that this recipe is so easy and such a great way to make an incredible ham dinner or holiday dinner anytime you want it!

Ingredients

  • Boneless ham steaks –  I cut each one in half so use your favorite ham steak and just cut them in half. I always use a fully cooked ham steak so you are just warming them through and topping them with that amazing glaze.
  • Green beans – I like to use fresh green beans for this but you can also use frozen, they might just put out a little more liquid than the fresh.
  • Baby potatoes –  I use little yukon gold potatoes and halve them.  You can also use larger potatoes just peel them and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Oil –  Use any light flavored oil you like to cook with.
  • Italian dressing mix –  This is the dry envelope kind, it gives everything such a fabulous flavor.
  • Paprika –  I love to season my veggies with paprika, it gives great color and flavor.
  • Black pepper –  I like to use fresh ground but use what you have on hand.
  • Onion powder –  I like to use the Kinders Caramelized Onion Butter seasoning but just regular onion powder will work great! You can even use dried minced onion if you prefer.
  • Garlic powder –  Whichever brand you like will work great in this recipe.
  • Brown sugar –  This adds sweetness and helps the glaze thicken up.
  • Honey –  This makes the glaze thick and shiny!  If you want your glaze less sweet you can swap out the honey for dijon mustard.
