Hey y’all!! We are smack dab in the middle of the holiday entertaining season! That means you probably have quite a few Christmas parties to go to or host. I know I do!
When it comes to hosting a holiday party I love using easy recipes that are full of flavor and short on time. So today I am going to share one of my favorite easy recipes that technically is only two ingredients (if you don’t count the tree trimmings :)
Now before any great party I always head to Target (because they have such cute stuff!) I always make sure to head to the cracker/chip aisle and picked up some Town House Crackers, my favorite for entertaining. I really like the buttery flavor they bring to the party ;)
Onto this fabulous recipe!
This is a variation on a favorite recipe of mine and it only uses two ingredients and can be made in literally 5 minutes.
You just take a slightly softened block of cream cheese and slice it diagonally corner to corner. Then flip one triangle over and smoosh it next to the other to make a tree shape.
Then I press the seam together and start gently spreading the cream cheese out to make a larger tree shape. I also try to keep an edge or lip with the cream cheese to keep the salsa from spilling out later.
Then you just spoon in your salsa verde.
Now you can stop there and be done, but I like to make it a little festive by adding chopped red bell pepper for ornaments and a yellow bell pepper star.
Three pretzel sticks make a trunk. Finally two cubes of cheese and a little sliced scallion make for some pretty presents under the tree.

How easy was that?!? Super easy, super quick, super festive and amazingly delicious. This dip will disappear in no time, it is always a hit. You can have fun with it too, decorate your “tree” any way you wish, use cheese, veggies, olives anything you can think of!
Of course I always serve mine with lots of Town House Crackers.
So don’t stress this busy holiday season just keep a box of Town House Crackers on hand, some cream cheese and salsa and you are always just minutes away from a spectacular appetizer everyone will love.
