Happy Holidays!!!  I am so happy the holidays are here, I look forward to this season all year!

There are two things I really love about the holidays… baking and Christmas shopping at Target!  They always have the best stuff!

I am hosting two holiday parties this year and I was browsing Target looking for some party favors when I spotted these adorable Glad holiday themed containers which are available at Target.  They would be the perfect little gift to give to my guests after I filled them with homemade treats.  They are such festive little containers and just beg to be filled with all sorts of Christmas cookies and candies.

Speaking of treats, the Glad holiday containers each had a fabulous holiday recipe on the back featuring M&Ms, especially the White Chocolate Peppermint M&Ms you can only get at Target.  So of course I had to grab a bag of those, okay okay two bags! lol

I loved the recipe for the M&M’s Chocolate Espresso Peppermint Bites they looked so festive with their sprinkles and holiday colored M&Ms.  Since the cookies were made with a cake mix they were a snap to make!  Here is a holiday tip for these cookies, stir a little peppermint extract into your storebought icing to instantly perk it up and give your cookies the perfect dose of holiday spirit.

You can get the recipe for these delicious cookies right on the back of the Glad holiday themed containers.

These cookies are fabulous, so yummy, so adorable and so perfect for packaging up for friends (if any make it to the containers lol)

These White Chocolate Peppermint M&Ms are so delicious I wanted to use them in another recipe,  What is everyone’s favorite Christmas treat? Fudge!!!  I love to make fudge for the holidays especially using this simple two ingredient recipe.  White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge is a snap to make using the M&Ms and will be everyone’s new favorite fudge recipe.

You just melt one pound white almond bark with one small can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz).  You can melt this slowly on low in a pot, over a double boiler or in the microwave.

Then I foil and grease a small baking dish, pour half the fudge mixture in, then sprinkle with White Chocolate M&M’s, then the rest of the fudge goes on top and them more M&M’s.  It’s a piece of cake!  Or more like a piece of fudge lol!

I packaged the fudge up in the smaller containers and noticed a recipe for Santa Snack Mix that I will have to try later!

So let Target help you package up the perfect homemade holiday treats with their exclusive White Chocolate Peppermint M&Ms and Holiday Gladware!

What holiday treats would you package up in these cute holiday containers?
