Hey y’all!! It is back to school time! It often takes quite awhile for us to get back in the swing of it all. The early morning drop offs (now made harder with a baby in tow), the evenings filled with baths, homework, lunch packing and bedtime it is hard to find time to fit everything in!
Thankfully I was able to pick up some some fabulous time savers at Stop & Shop! These products help me out so much on those ultra busy days.
For those mornings when I have hit the snooze button one too many times I am so glad I have Jimmy Dean® breakfast croissants on hand! They come in great varieties like sausage, egg and cheese and ham, egg and cheese which my boys love but they also come in this Delight variety which this mama loves!!
With these on hand I am just 3 minutes away from a delicious breakfast made with real ingredients!
Dean is not a sandwich lover when it comes to his lunch box so every morning I pack his lunch with Tyson® frozen fully cooked chicken nuggets. He loves the dinosaur ones, they are his favorite! He gets a yummy lunch he actually likes and I get peace of mind knowing the nuggets are made with 100% all natural ingredients, white meat chicken and without added hormones or steriods.
Now if Dean is hungry when he comes home from school or if my hubs needs a snack after work, Tyson Any’tizers® snacks are my favorite thing to have on hand. I just pop them in the oven and they have a snack that takes me no time at all to make. They are an excellent source of protein and full of flavor and keeps my hungry boys full till dinner.
Speaking of dinner, it just seems by that time of night I am just plain wore out from the day, but I still have to get a yummy dinner on the table for my equally tired boys.
That is where Tyson frozen fully cooked chicken strips saves the day. They are great on their own with a dipping sauce, fabulous in a wrap or salad, there are just so many ways to jazz these up for dinner and since they are already cooked they save me so much time!!
Tonight we are going to use them to make Chicken Parmesan Subs, yum!
These could not be easier! I just pop the strips in the oven to cook up.
I butter and add Parmesan cheese and garlic to them before toasting them up.
A little marinara sauce goes in the buns with the chicken.
Top with mozzarella and back to the broiler to melt.
Dinner is ready!!
- 4 sub buns
- 8 chicken strips
