Hey guys!!!  It finally feels like summer around here!!  The sun is shining, the weather is warm, bathing suits are coming out of winter hibernation and oh yeah… the kids are out of school!

Kids look forward to summer break all year long so I try to make every day a little special and that is what I want to share with you today.  It is so easy to take a boring hot day into something fun with just a few items you can find around your house and a delicious lunch!

During the summer we want quick and easy lunches but I also like to have a little fun with it.  This summer there is nothing hotter than Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory so a fabulous lunch featuring everyone’s favorite fish is perfect to beat a slow summer day!

Campbell’s soup has Disney Pixar Finding Dory chicken noodle soup and what could be more fun!  The great classic taste that your kids already love but now in fun shapes like seashells, Dory and Destiny!

Look for all 3 unique labels featuring Dory, Nemo and Hank at Target!  I’m there every week anyway lol!

Of course you cannot have a soup lunch without crackers and nothing goes better with Campbell’s Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory soup than Goldfish® Special Edition! Cheddar Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Crackers.  They have special colors sourced from plants, and are so cute and fun! Goldfish® crackers are a staple in our house and I love these special edition ones!

These two together make the best lunch!  It is also a super easy lunch to put together which every busy mom needs.

 

You’ll save so much time with this easy and yummy lunch that you will have time for a little crafting with your kids.  This project uses things you most likely already having laying around.

Since we’re going with an ocean themed lunch I thought it would be super fun to whip up some Ocean Glitter Bottles.

Kids love to make these, they are super easy and I just love them!  They are so calming to look at with all the swirling glitter!

So let’s get started!

First you just take some empty water bottles that you removed the label from and fill them halfway with water and a drop of blue food coloring.

Next is where you let your littles really customize these.  Grab some of my favorite thing ever GLITTER!!  And let them pour as much as they want into their bottle.  Whatever colors they like.  I went with more ocean themed colors with these bottles, blue, green, teal and silver.

Next step is optional, you can pour a little vegetable oil into the bottles, this creates a lava lamp effect and is pretty cool.  So you have two options, leave out the oil and have a “snowglobe” like bottle or add the oil for a “lava lamp” effect.

Next we took some ocean stickers that were waves and fish and put those on the outside of the bottles.

The most important part is to glue the lids on!!!!  This keeps your kids safe and your house safe.  You do not want to clean up that mess!

So this is an easy craft to keep your kiddos busy while they are waiting for their yummy fun lunch!
