- Red bell pepper- You can use red, orange, yellow or green peppers.

Light soy sauce– Low-sodium soy sauce is best to use.
- Hoisin sauce- This provides some body and flavor to the sauce. You could swap this out for oyster sauce if you prefer.
- Brown sugar- This gives the dish it’s sweetness
- Oil- You only need a little of this. You can also use sesame oil or toasted sesame seed oil.
- Ketchup- This adds a little base to the sauce to help the sauce get thick.
- Garlic- You can use fresh garlic or jarred minced garlic.
- Honey- Of course you need honey for this recipe, it makes everything nice and glazy.
- Scallions- These green onions add such a great flavor and color.
- Ramen noodles- Just open 2 packets of ramen noodles and discard the seasoning packets.
- Sesame seeds- Optional but I love the crunch and flavor
How to make this Chicken Ramen

- To your chicken add the hoisin sauce and brown sugar, stir to coat.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat add your oil.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook 5-8 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- To the pan add your red peppers and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken stock, ketchup, soy sauce and honey.
- Whisk all together.
- Add the noodles to the pan.
- Bring to a bubble, cover and cook for 7 minutes.
- Remove the lid and add the chicken.
- Stir everything together over medium heat until the sauce thicken and noodles are cooked through.
- Add your scallions, garnish with sesame seeds if you like.
- Serve!

- 1 pound chicken tenderloins, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- ⅓ cup lite soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 packets of ramen noodles, just the noodles, discard the seasoning packet
- 3-4 scallions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish, optional
