This Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Loin is one of my favorite dinners to make in the Fall or Winter.  Tender pork loin cooks up in a delicious and flavorful sauce of French dressing, onion soup mix and cranberry sauce.  This dish has so much flavor and is perfect over a bed of mashed potatoes.

 

There is nothing I love more an easy dinner that I can just throw in the slow cooker that everyone will love and this Cranberry Pork Loin fits the bill.

I love that I can just throw everything in the slow cooker and have a delicious, flavorful dinner that everyone really enjoys.  Whenever I find a dinner that everyone in my house eats I get happy!  And for it to be in the slow cooker? That’s a double win for me!

I love the Fall and although everyone associates Fall with pumpkin and apple we cannot forget about cranberry!! I love using cranberries in my cooking when the weather gets cooler and this pork roast is perfect with it!

This pork just falls apart! This cooks up in a flavorful sauce of cranberry sauce, french dressing and onion soup mix which makes this sauce amazing.

I love that you can customize this to your family’s taste, make it spicy, change up the protein, add your favorite seasonings, you can totally make this recipe your own.

This is also a perfect holiday dinner, it is so pretty with it’s red color and it goes perfect over a bed of mashed potatoes or savory stuffing.  This makes a great dinner during the holiday season. 

It also is impressive, the tender pork in that thick, rich, sweet sauce with the tart kick of cranberry is just delightful and you can certainly entertain with this recipe.  Your guests will be wowed!

Place the sauce and pork in the slow cooker.

Cook for 4-6 hours and dinner is done!

Can I use any other protein?

Yes, you could use boneless skinless chicken thighs, boneless skinless chicken breasts or even a beef chuck roast.  Just adjust cooking times accordingly. 

What should I serve this with?

We loved this piled high on fluffy mashed potatoes but it is fabulous over rice or even on buns like a sandwich.  The cranberry sauce also makes it great for serving with stuffing. 

Can I make this spicy?

You can add red pepper flakes, jalapenos or sriracha to give this a kick.

Ingredients used

  • Pork Loin –  Any boneless pork roast would work in this recipe.  
  • Onion Soup Mix –  You want to use the dry mix that comes in the envelope.
  • French dressing-  This adds a dash of sweetness and richness to the sauce. 
  • Cranberry Sauce –  You can use jellies or whole berry cranberry sauce, whichever you prefer.
  • Parsley-  This is a garnish but the green with the red really give it a holiday look.

How to make Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Loin

 

  1. FULL RECIPE BELOW
  2. In your slow cooker place your pork loin. 
  3. In a small bowl combine the dry onion soup mix, French dressing, and cranberry sauce.
  4. Pour the mixture all over the pork loin. 
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. 
  6. When ready serve with more cranberry sauce on top. 
  7. Garnish with dried cranberries and parsley if desired.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pound pork loin
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup French dressing
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cranberry sauce
  • Dried cranberry and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In your slow cooker place your pork loin. 
  2. In a small bowl combine the dry onion soup mix, French dressing, and cranberry sauce.
  3. Pour the mixture all over the pork loin. 
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. 
  5. When ready serve with more cranberry sauce on top. 
  6. Garnish with dried cranberries and parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • This is great over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles. 
  • You can use jellied cranberry sauce or whole berry sauce.
