Making these pumpkin truffles are so easy!
Just start with a few ingredients.
Combine them in a bowl.
Give them a good mix.
Shape them into little balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Using a toothpick make little lines in the sides to look like pumpkins.
After chilling the truffles melt your candy melts.
Carefully dip them into the orange.
Then place the green melting candy into a little bag, snip off the end and decorate with leaves and vines.
Can I use anything else besides sticks?
Yes! You can use pretzels instead of the lollipop sticks or you can even skip the sticks altogether and just use two forks to dip them in the melting chocolate.
Can I use different cookies?
Of course, but be sure they are some kind of cookie with a cream filling, so any kind of Oreo or filled cookie will work.
How to store these?
Because they do have cream cheese in them I like to store the leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Ingredients used
- Cream Cheese – Make sure you use softened cream cheese.
- Golden Oreos – I like to use the golden ones but this would also work with pumpkin spice oreos.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice – This gives the cookie truffles their pumpkin pie flavor. You can also just use cinnamon if you like.
- Vanilla Extract – Provides a little sweet flavor to the truffles.
- Orange and Green Chocolate melts – I find these in the baking section of my store and are also easily found in craft stores.
