Hey guys!!!  Are you stressing over the new school year starting yet?  Don’t worry I got ya covered!  Back to school means a change in schedule and often times moms have zero time at the end of the day to make dinner and that is where this One Pot recipe and couponing is going to save the day!

Speaking of back to school I’m sure it hit your wallet pretty hard, all those supplies and new clothes can leave your credit card begging for a break and I can help you with that too!  Not only is my One Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta pretty budget friendly but you can use coupons on some of the ingredients!  Woot coupons!!!!  That’s right, right now Kraft has a great amount of coupons you can use to save money on a ton of items you already use.  This recipe alone uses 3 Kraft products that have coupons, so easy peasy saving money there.  They have coupons on everything from cheese, to mayo, to Jello, bacon and some lunch time supplies like Lunchables and Capri-Suns so snap up those coupons and get to saving!

I printed out my coupons and headed to do my weekly Walmart grocery shopping where I bought Kraft Ranch Dressing, Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese and Oscar Mayer Butcher Cut Bacon to make this yummy dish!

Now onto the yummy food!  This recipes is a favorite with my family because hello bacon! And who doesn’t love ranch?  Put all that together with some pasta and cheese and chicken and it will be full tummies and smiles all around!

I love this recipe because it comes together fast and only uses one pot making it the perfect meal when I am in a rush.  One pot to clean, I am so down with that!

So I just brown up a pound of Oscar Mayer Butcher Cut bacon that has been chopped.  I drain it on paper towels and remove all but one tablespoon or so of bacon grease from the pan (if your grandma raised ya right, you know to put that leftover bacon grease in your grease can for later ;)

Now brown up a pound of chicken breast that has been diced.  Don’t worry about cooking it through, just get a little color on it.  Then add in a clove of minced garlic (or a squeeze of the bottled garlic stuff if you’re lazy like me lol)

Then add in 2 cups of chicken stock, 1/2 cup of milk, 4 tablespoons of Kraft Ranch dressing and 8 oz of any short pasta.

Bring all that to boil and reduce to low and cover for 20 minutes.

Wow that looks delicious. My grandmother used to keep the bacon grease in a coffee cup… nothing like the taste of chicken browned in bacon grease, right? Perfect weeknight dinner when the weather turns crisp!!

Can you use 1/2 cup of water instead of milk?

Sure, it shouldn’t hurt, might make it a bit less creamy but shouldn’t change it too much.
