Sharing is caring!

Cheesy Asparagus Tart

Week Two of our Christmas Series!!!  Dana from This Silly Girl’s Life and I have teamed up again to bring you our Christmas Series where we each bring you a delicious recipe every week that would be perfect for you holiday table.

This week we are sharing recipes for side dishes guaranteed to become stars on your holiday table this year.

I am sharing this amazing Cheesy Asparagus Tart, it is a cheesy, flavorful bread and vegetable all in one.  It is fabulous!  Oh I forgot to mention the best part, it is super quick!

You just start by boiling the asparagus in salted water till just tender.

Preheat oven to 350.

Then on a greased cookie sheet take a roll of crescent rolls and press them together into one large rectangle and fold over the edges.

Sprinkle the dough with a cup of an Italian blend of cheeses (I used Kraft 5 Cheese Blend), try to keep the cheese inside the edges.

Sprinkle the whole thing, edges included, with grated Parmesan cheese.

Place the asparagus on the tart and sprinkle the whole thing with pepper and a light sprinkling of garlic salt.

Place the tart into the oven and bake about 12-15 minutes until the cheese is brown and bubbly and the dough is brown.

Remove from oven, let cool and cut into 8 squares.
