Out of the box lunch with Box Tops™
Okay mamas! Back to school time is officially here! I already talked to you about how great it is to shop for back to school supplies at Walmart while picking up some great Box Top™ products! Now I am going to show you what you can make with some of those amazing products!
Packing a lunch can get pretty boring if you don’t shake it up every now and then and create a lunch box outside the box and I am going to show you how you can do it super easy using Box Top™ products!
PB&J can get old fast so every now and then I like to throw a curveball in there like this Ranch Chicken Taco Salad. It is so simple to make and delicious!
Now I always have lots of salad fixins in my fridge but you can always cheat and hit a salad bar to get what you need! I just start with lettuce, grilled chicken strips and cheese, then you can add in your kid’s favorite veggies and toppings. I add a little black bean and corn for that southwestern flair.
Now comes the super yummy part, crushed up Ranch Taco Shells which I love buying for lunches and dinner because I can always get a Box Top™ off the box!
Since this is Dean’s first year in school I am so happy to be participating in the Box Tops™ program for his school! We already use so many of the great products that have Box Tops™ on them and now I can send them into Dean’s school and they can use the money from them in soo many ways!
Each Box Top™ is worth $0.10 for Dean’s school and they can use the Box Tops cash to buy whatever they need from supplies to field trips!
The Box Tops™ program is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs which is why it is easy for you to collect for your school especially since over 80,000 K-8 schools participate! Box Tops™ for Education has contributed over $525 million to participating schools since it started in 1996!
Even though I am new to all this school stuff and new to collecting Box Tops™ it is so easy, you just shop for participating Box Top™ products (there are a ton!), clip the Box Tops™ and send them your school. That is all, it is just so easy and you get the satisfaction of helping your child’s school while buying products you normally buy anyways, everybody wins!
Dean has such a great time picking out snacks for his lunch box and making sure he gets the ones with the Box Tops™ labels and then he gets a say in what I pack for his lunch and he gets to help out his school too.
He loves Mott’s Applesauce and for a special treat he usually picks out a fruit snack. All have Box Tops™ so all help his school!
On Fridays we like to do a little special something and bake cookies. I love these Pillsbury ready to bake cookies and of course yes they also have Box Tops™! This way Dean gets a special treat, I get to clip another Box Top and then I get 2 cookies! I mean they are guilt free since they are helping a good cause right?!
So I hope I showed you how great the Box Top™ program is and how easy it is for even a first timer to get the hang out it and I hope you also liked my lunch idea and seeing how many products you can use in your day that have Box Tops to collect for your child’s school!
