Are you ready?!?! I know you are probably still laying out by the pool soaking up all that summer sun, but back to school is right around the corner.  It’s coming up like that big yellow school bus pulling up to your house at 7 am.

I love back to school time, the pencils and paper, the smell of a fresh box of crayons, the new book bags with matching lunch boxes, I love it all!

Speaking of lunch boxes I always get Dean a bento box for his lunch.  No I am not some super Pinterest Mom who spends all night cutting vegetables into intricate cartoon characters to create the ultimate bento box. That’s not me lol!  That’s also not what bento boxes are all about.

You might see them on Pinterest and be like that’s crazy, I don’t need one of those.  But you might!

See Dean like most kids only has about 20 minutes to eat lunch at school and kids could easily take up a lot of that time opening and closing a million plastic bags or little tupperware containers.  With a bento box they just open one latch and it’s lunch time!! And at the end up lunch they just close it up and away they go!

So I am a big advocate of bento boxes!!

I also love Danimals® to pack in their lunch!  They also make lunch quick!  Just a quick twist of the lid and they have delicious yogurt!

I love giving my kids Danimals® smoothies and pouches because they nutritious snacks that my kids think are yummy. Not only are they great for lunches but they are the perfect on-the-go snack for all those after school activities or even a quick breakfast!

I always feel good about popping a Danimals® in their lunch because they are a good source of calcium and Vitamin D, have no artificial flavors and my kids love the taste and all the flavors!

One trick I love to use with my Danimals® pouches is to freeze them!  It helps keep his lunch cool till lunch time!  While the smoothies do need to stay cool and/or refrigerated those are not made to be frozen.

To make sure you are even more prepared for back to school Danimals® wants to help your kids start the school year off right! Right now when you buy 3 participating Danimals® products, you will receive a $10 gift card for school supplies on! See more about that offer HERE

Danimals® helps me get through the crazy back to school season and Walmart can help too!

It can be a little hard to get back into that routine after summer and with school pick ups and drop offs and after school practices and homework there isn’t a lot of time to get to the grocery store!  That is why I love using Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup service.  I can lay in bed at night and add all the groceries I need to my app and pick up all my groceries after I drop the kids off at school, easy peasy!

  1. Have you ever tried freezing the Danimals Smoothies? I’m thinking about trying that. Put it in the lunch box in the morning and by lunch (hopefully) it would be thawed and ready to drink…?
