Hey y’all! Right now it is getting to be lunch time and most days I am too busy to eat anything close to satisfying lunch. My normal lunch usually consists of whatever chicken nuggets or grilled cheese crust Dean left behind or anything I can grab out of the fridge and eat standing up between blog posts and temper tantrums.
I knew I had to change this, as a busy mom everyone relies on me and I need to be my best and I need a good lunch for that to happen.
While doing my weekly grocery shopping at Walmart I was on the hunt for a lunch that would be quick but nourishing, something made with real ingredients and that I could feel good about eating!
Just as I was starting to wonder if such a product existed I came across these Campbell’s Slow Kettle Soups! They had everything I was looking for! They were quick, and would be the perfect lunch to warm me up on these chilly days. Plus soup just seems to have an uplifting warm effect on the soul. There is just something about a steamy bowl of soup that just automatically calms you down even during the busiest days.
Now my only problem was choosing a flavor! There were so many to choose from and they all sounded delicious! I settled on Baked Potato Soup with Applewood Smoked Bacon, Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Bisque, Southwest Chicken Chili with Black Beans Soup and Kickin’ Crab and Sweet Corn Chowder. I cannot wait to try all the flavors!
Just like normal lunch time rolled around and I was slammed with work and trying to get Dean’s lunch ready and I remembered my Campbell’s Soup.
I picked one from the pantry, popped the lid, put it in a little pot on the stove while I finished making Dean’s lunch and then it was ready! I prefer heating soup on the stove but Campbell’s also includes microwave directions for those super duper busy days!
So now I have talked about how easy it is to make this lunch but what about the taste? Fantastic!! Fabulous! Each soup has a robust, complex flavor that chef crafted for an authentic restaurant style taste! These Slow Kettle Soups are made with fresh quality real ingredients. You see the hearty chunks of potatoes or the bright sweet corn and just know you are eating a lunch you can feel great about!
I pair mine with some toasted wheat crackers and a piece of fruit for a truly wonderful lunch. No matter how busy I am I always have time to warm up one of these comforting soups and I am instantly calm and warm and fuzzy while I eat my yummy lunch.
These soups are perfect for a busy mom like me, but they are also wonderful even if you aren’t busy or just want to snuggle down with a steamy bowl of soup full of flavor!
Do you love soups for lunch? Which Campbell’s Slow Kettle Soup are you most excited to try?
