Effortless Bathroom Cleaning with Tilex®

I hate cleaning the bathroom, hate it, with a passion. I won’t do it, I told my husband before we were married “I will clean anything, cook anything, take care of the kids but the bathroom is your job.” Thankfully I married a dude who loves to clean so he doesn’t mind.
Being a milkman he is busy in the summer with everyone wanting to order ice cream so his bathroom cleaning duty has been slipping.
Now I don’t mind keeping my bathroom clean as I go to avoid needing to ever “clean” it but I can’t say the same for the boys bathroom, with a 5-year-old who I’m pretty sure purposely aims to spit his toothpaste on the faucet, that bathroom is a disaster. With Daddy super busy and the warm weather making everything icky faster I knew there was going to be some major mold and mildew issues in that bathroom.
So what’s a girl to do? Grab some of those industrial yellow gloves that go up to my elbow, a bottle of Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover say a prayer and open the door to that biohazard bathroom. Ugh so embarrassing to have this dirty bathroom, but I’m not alone with this dirty little secret, in fact 100% of U.S homes have mold, so we are all in this battle together!
I opened the door and looked around at the mess while I could hear that horror music blaring through my ears. No horror monsters here just mold and mildew, bleh.
Eww mildew, boo mold. That stuff is gross and easy to spot, black stains on your shower curtain, red stains on your grout, yup that’s mold and mildew. Soap and detergent will not do the job of killing the mold, they may remove the stain but the mildew and mold are still there, waiting to come back. It only takes 48 hours for that evil mess to grow and it especially loves a moist environment, just like your bathroom.
Yuck, I gotta get rid of this mess.
I read the back of the bottle and couldn’t believe my eyes, just spray it, let it sit for 5 minutes and wipe away the mess! Really?!? Could it be that simple? So I sprayed it on let it sit.
Sure enough 5 minutes later I wiped it away to reveal a sparkling sink. That was easy, and painless!! No scrubbing!
I always trust Tilex® will do it’s job, it is a brand my family has trusted for years. Whether we have black, green, pink or red mildew stains I know they will be banished with the help of Tilex®. I also love that it contains Clorox® Bleach so I know my bathroom is getting clean and disinfected.
I was so impressed with how easy, quick and effortless it was to clean the sink I actually was excited to use the Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover on my other surfaces, my grout, tub, tile and that always mildewy shower curtain all got sprayed down and within 5 minutes after a wipe were sparkling again.
Whoa I did it! I tackled the most messiest bathroom all by myself, well okay I had a lot of help from Tilex® who actually made the whole cleaning process effortless, I didn’t need the biohazard suit after all lol!
So don’t be ashamed of your dirty little secret, just bust out the Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover spray it on, take a 5 minute mommy break and then wipe away and revel in your clean healthy bathroom, no scrubbing and kills 99.9% of mold and mildew, awesome!
