Snowy Lunchbox

Hey guys!! So the holidays are winding down and holiday break from school is coming to end. I always get a little sad when it’s all over. However, there is one thing that I look forward to after the holidays that always cheers me up: SNOW!
It is rare to get snow here before the holidays, so it’s always something to look forward to.
I know the kids can be a little resistant to leaving the coziness of the Christmas tree and all their gifts, so I make sure to make their back-to-school lunches super fun. Thanks to Mott’s, I created this adorable Snowy Lunch!
I love packing the kiddos’ lunches with Mott’s; their favorite is the Mott’s 100% Original Apple
Juice which is 100% Juice and 100% Yum. They love the delicious taste, and I love that it’s good for them. Each 8 oz. serving provides them with two servings of fruit.
I also always pack a Mott’s Unsweetened Applesauce for a deliciously healthy snack made from 100% real fruit. It’s an excellent source of Vitamin C and only has three simple ingredients: apples, water, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Plus, there are no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors—yay!
I get my Mott’s right at Dollar General; the juice and apple sauce come in 6 packs, so I get 6 lunches worth for an amazing price!
Don’t forget to check the Dollar General app for coupons and weekly deals to help you save even more money.
I created this Snowy Lunchbox by using my leftover Christmas snowflake cookie cutters to cut a peanut butter sandwich or a turkey sandwich. Then, I add in some snowflake crackers. For a little dessert, I take a mini powdered doughnut that I decorate with chocolate chip eyes and an orange jelly bean nose.
Now, to round out that lunch, I take a Mott’s 100% Original Apple Juice and wrap it with a little white construction paper. Then, I use crayons or a marker to make a little snow man face. I even include a little black top hat—so cute!!!
For the Mott’s Unsweetened Applesauce, I cut a white circle the same size as the lid of the applesauce and draw a happy little snow man face on that. You can do both of these the night before to save time in the morning.
Look how cute they are!! They are sure to brighten your kids’ spirits when they open their back-to-school lunch.
So, send them back to school with Mott’s and this Snowy Lunchbox and you’ll be sending them back with a smile!
