Prep for Summer with these Mini Banana Pudding Cups and stock up on some necessities like PEPCID AC® for all those Summer cookouts!
Hey guys!! It is officially summer! That means it is time to light up the grills and get ready for all those bbqs and cook outs.
We love to have cook outs at our house and I love to make all sorts of delicious food. Of course all that summer food can cause some tummy issues for some.
I personally get a bit of indigestion and heartburn if I eat anything too spicy or acidic. So today I am going to talk about how I prevent and treat heartburn and a recipe you can make that is low in acid. Summer often brings about tons of lemon desserts and citrus desserts, spicy grilled meats and yummy fresh salads and those often can be culprits for heartburn.
I love to keep PEPCID AC® Maximum Strength for Heartburn Prevention & Relief on hand so I can always enjoy all those summer goodies.
I love PEPCID AC® because it works fast* and lasts all day** ! I really like that it controls heartburn before, during, and after it starts which means I can take it anytime I need it to prevents and relieve heartburn.
And it starts to relieve heartburn in 15-30 minutes which is fabulous because as a busy mom I am always in a rush lol. Just one tablet prevents* and treats heartburn and lasts all day** So that is why I always have Maximum strength PEPCID AC® for the times I need powerful heartburn relief.
I try to stay on top of heartburn by watching what I am eating and making foods that I know shouldn’t give me trouble.
Did you know though that bananas and oats can actually help heartburn? So for a perfect summer dessert I love to make these Mini Banana Pudding Cups.
I also make my banana pudding with oat milk for even more oat goodness (milk is a trigger for my heartburn)! These little cups of yumminess are so easy and quick to make and I love that they are individual so every one gets their own and you can just pop the leftovers in the fridge for a sweet bite later. Though not too much later, eating too close to bedtime can trigger heartburn symptoms too.
These are great to make for cookouts when there might be some desserts that could cause a little heartburn so these provide a great alternative that everyone will love!
I caramelize some oats with butter and brown sugar for a crunchy topping, yum!
At the start of summer I also like to make sure that my bathroom always has the necessities anyone might need after a great cookout. PEPCID AC®, LACTAID and IMODIUM® are three things I always make sure I have on hand and where my guests can easily get them if they need them. I love being a good host and being prepared for whatever anyone may need. Click on the image below to add these products directly to your Walmart.com cart!
Sometimes I keep them up on these shelves, which are accessible for anyone that needs.
I always pick up my PEPCID AC®, LACTAID and IMODIUM® right at Walmart when I do my weekly grocery order and I just add them right to my online cart and then I can have them delivered or I can pick them up. Such a timesaver!!
Anytime I have any kind of cookout or a guest over I make sure to go ahead and put those out and everyone is always so happy that they can just get what they need if they need something.
You could also add some bandaids, some bug bite itch relief and maybe even some sunscreen to the tray to make sure you really have everything all in one place and ready for anything!
So this summer I hope you set up a little summer necessity tray with PEPCID AC®, LACTAID and IMODIUM®. And try my Mini Banana Pudding Cups for a great summer dessert that should be easier on your heartburn than some other desserts!
Have a fun and safe summer!
