Hey guys!!! It is almost fall!!! I love fall sooooo much I am just going to go ahead and pretend it already is fall! To hell with these last few weeks of summer! Bring on the pumpkins and boots and sweaters and orange leaves!
So this week I am sharing with you a perfectly fallish dessert, Salted Caramel Rice Krispy Treats.
These treats are just as easy to make as regular rice krispy treats but the flavor is taken to the next level. I have always been a traditional rice krispy kinda girl but now these are my go to, they are amazing!!!
Basically you just make regular rice krispy treats except your brown your butter and use caramel marshmallows.
The combination of those two things make for rich, caramely, butter treats sure to knock ya in the tastebuds!
So here we go, lets make some deliciousness!!
Start by browning your butter (slowly people, we don’t want this to burn!)
Then add in a whole bag of Jet Puffed Caramel Marshmallows (you will have to add a little regular marshmallows too, to get the right ratio)
Then let that slowly melt together into luscious yumminess! This will smell divine at this point!
Now comes the hard part, you gotta get your krispies into the marshmallow and get your daily arm workout mixing it all together before dumping them into a buttered pyrex dish.
Sprinkle with a little coarse ground or kosher salt.
Then these babies just need to cool and you can slice them up and enjoy this sweet taste of fall.
