Cranberry Vanilla Bean Danishes

Hey y’all!!  So Thanksgiving is right around the corner yay!!  I am so excited about all the turkey and dressing and pie, yum!!  I also am a big fan of cranberry sauce, I love it!

One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is waking up to watch the parade in our jammies while eating some kind of decadent breakfast pastry while waiting to see Santa’s float.

This year I wanted to make danishes, but easy danishes lol.  I have been obsessed with FinlandiaCreamy Gourmet Cheeses.  They’re cheeses are just fabulous!  They are so creamy and so full of flavor and very versatile!  We love dipping pretzels or fruit in them, using them as spreads on bread for appetizer and using them in recipes.  With great flavors like Vanilla Bean and Black Garlic there is a delicious cheese for any craving.

I am addicted to dipping apple slices in the Vanilla Bean, it is my go to snack.  My husband likes to sit down in front of the TV with the Black Garlic Cheese and a bowl of pretzels, yum!

Of course Finlandia cheese is amazingly delicious as it is made with the purest milk from Finnish family owned farms, how awesome is that?  It also is made with nothing artificial, which is super important to my family.  There is also no added hormones.  Finlandia is relentless in the pursuit of perfection and you can taste it!

So back to the danishes.  I knew Finlandia’s Vanilla Bean Cheese would make an amazing danish for Thanksgiving morning but I wanted to give them a holiday flavor, a little festive kick and what goes better with Thanksgiving than cranberry?!?

Three ingredients is all I needed to make the most delicious and easy danishes ever!

Crescent rolls create an easy base and the Vanilla Bean Cheese is swirled with cranberry sauce to create the perfect breakfast treat, just the thing for watching the parade!

Cranberry Vanilla Bean Danishes

Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 count crescent rolls
  • 1 cup Finlandia Vanilla Bean Gourmet Cheese
  • 3/4 cup cranberry sauce whole berry or not is fine
  • Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Press two crescents together to make a rectangle and fold over the edges creating a border.
  3. Place them on a greased cookie sheet
  4. Mix the cranberry sauce and cheese and spoon onto crescents
  5. Sprinkle some sugar around the edges
  6. Bake 12-15 minutes until edges are browned
  7. Remove, let cool slightly and serve
