Kit Kat Cookies

Sharing is caring!

Kit Kat Cookies

Do you ever buy something from Costco just because it is really good deal?  Like say… oh I don’t know a 5 pound bag of chocolate chips?  Well I do!  We wont even go there about my unopened 3 pounds of Craisins I need to use by October……

So one day I am craving cookies which is unlike me because when my sweet tooth strikes it always wants gummies not cookies.  But on this particular day I wanted cookies bad.  So I figure well it is a good way to use a minuscule amount of my lifetime supply of chocolate chips and the kids were excited to make cookies so why not.

If I am going to make cookies and chill the dough and roll out multiple dough balls and switch cookie sheets and switch cookie sheets and switch cookie sheets, I’m going to add a little something special to these cookies.  So I begin to brainstorm and try to think of what I can add to these cookies to make them over the top and I a little lightbulb goes off and I open my trusty candy drawer (yes I have a whole drawer for candy, where else would I keep all my gummies?) and there it is, a bag of those new mini Kit Kats, the perfect addition to my chocolate chip cookies!

And oh what a perfect addition they were!!!  I still chopped them half to make them a better size for the cookies but they added just a bit of crunch to the cookies and of course that Kit Kat flavor everyone loves.  I’m not sure I could ever make chocolate chip cookies without throwing these in there ever again!!

So next time you are craving something sweet try these Kit Kat Cookies, they are amazing!!

    1. You can try not chilling them, I have not made them unchilled so I cannot say how they will turn out, you can always try a cookie or two and if they do not come out then chill the dough

  13. Hmmm I just bought some Valentines raspberry Kit Kat’s at the store. I wonder if white chocolate or dark chocolate would work with that? Sounds yummy!
