Sweet and Salty Ice Cream Sandwiches

Hey guys!!! It is summer!!! That means it is time for all sorts of cool creamy treats!!
Summertime also seems to be when we need to keep snacks on hand. There are kids at home who just never stop snacking, parties, get togethers and they are all hungry!
I make sure that I always have everything on hand to whip up these delicious Sweet and Salty Ice Cream Sandwiches.
We love Pepperidge Farm Cookies around here. When I was younger I remember my grandma having these amazing cookies! They were so light and airy and filled with luscious chocolate. They came in this paper bag and they were nestled in paper cups and they just seemed so special!
I would love spending the night at my grandma’s house but being able to share those magical Milano cookies made it even more special.
Every year I make sure to tuck a package of Milanos in with my grandma’s birthday present.
I learned well and make sure I always have a few varieties in my pantry.
My grandma also taught to me to always have a can of Reddi-wip in the fridge. It is good for anything from ice cream sundaes to topping summer berries and of course squirting a little straight from the can at midnight!
One trick of my own is to always have Smucker’s Simple Delight Toppings in my fridge. Hot fudge and their new Salted Caramel are favorites of mine. Drizzled on strawberries or apples and I have the perfect midnight snack. They are also great for jazzing up any dessert!
Now mix all those things together with your favorite ice cream and you have a summer treat that everyone will love.
Take any of your favorite Pepperidge Farm Cookies, I used Chessman, Salted Caramel and Milk Chocolate Macadamia Nut.
Next sandwich your favorite ice cream in between two.
Now this is where it gets fun!!
Top with Reddi-wip and drizzle some of those Smucker Toppings ontop!
These ice cream sandwiches have the perfect balance of salty and sweet!
