S’more Muddy Buddies
So the days are longer now, we stay outside later enjoying the warmth and that means S’mores season is here, a staple at camp outs, cook outs, and just hanging outside on the weekend. What’s not to love about S’mores? The lightly, sweet crunchy graham cracker, the melty chocolate and that perfect gooey, toasty marshmallow! A combination made in heaven right?
While I love the flavor combination of a warm S’more, the execution not so much. One bite and sticky marshmallow and drippy chocolate come bursting out the sides and your left with empty graham crackers and sticky hands. So I love to figure out how to get that S’mores flavor in a different (slightly less messy) way.
May I present to you S’mores Muddy Buddies! Yes everyone loves Muddy Buddies so why not transform it with the flavors of S’mores and create a snack you can share and even eat in bed (no doing that with a traditional S’more lol)
In place of the chex cereal I used graham cereal and added some marshmallow fluff to the melted chocolate chips.
I tossed the powdered sugar with some mini marshmallows to toss the chocolate coated cereal in.
Zip up those bags good and shake em till the cereal is all coated and there you have it S’mores Muddy Buddies made in no time flat.
Can I just say this stuff is amazing! All the flavors of S’mores are right there is this little snack and it is addicting!! It makes a perfect snack for parties or to package up and giveaway to friends, send your cookout guests home with a bag and they will love you forever!
So if you are craving this campfire classic and have 15 minutes just whip yourself up a batch of these S’mores Muddy Buddies and watch it disappear by the handful!

I made these once years ago but had forgotten all about them! Thanks for sharing:)
Yum! Usually I’m not a fan all the different muddy buddy (puppy chow) recipes, but this one makes so much sense and looks fantastic! I can’t wait to try it!
Oh my gosh, this looks so yummy! That is genius using the graham cereal instead of the chex, I would have never thought of that. I will definitely be pinning this for later!
Yay for all things s’mores now that summer is here!!! I love that you made muddy buddies with this flavor!!! It wouldn’t last long around here for sure!!!
