Hey yall!! I am super excited to give you a glimpse at the new line of lunch meat from Hillshire Farm®, new Hillshire Farm® Naturals!!
I am so stoked about these because if there is one thing I have banned from our plates it is nitrates and nitrites added. However, that really limits our sandwich options so I am just ecstatic about this line because it is nitrate and nitrite free!!!
This new line of superb quality lunchmeat is slow roasted and perfectly seasoned for optimal yumminess with no artificial ingredients or preservatives. And there is no artificial coloring which makes this mommy very happy since my little one has a red dye allergy.
So next time you are shopping at your grocery store keep an eye out for this yummy line in flavors like Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, Hardwood Smoked Turkey Breast, Honey Roasted Ham and Black Forest Ham.

California-Style Turkey Sandwich

Makes: 1 sandwich
• Ingredients:
2 slices wheat bread
1 oz. herb mayonnaise
6 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals Slow Roasted Turkey
½ avocado, peeled, thinly sliced
2 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
• Directions:
Spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread. Top with Hillshire Farm® Naturals TM Black Forrest Ham, avocado slices, Monterey Jack cheese and second slice of bread.
Variation: Substitute low fat mayonnaise, ½ teaspoon each chopped fresh parsley and thyme for herb mayonnaise.
San Francisco Club Sandwich

Makes: 1 sandwich
• Ingredients:
2 slices Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread
2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
3 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals Slow Roasted Turkey
3 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals Black Forest Ham
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
3 slices bacon
1 slice Swiss cheese, sliced
Shredded romaine lettuce
• Directions:
In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon. Drain and re-serve.
Toast bread slices.
In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and hot sauce. Spread on one side of each slice of toast.
Top one slice of toast with Hillshire Farm® Naturals TM Slow Roasted Turkey and cheese. Top with second toast slice. Add Hillshire Farm® Naturals TM Black Forrest Ham, bacon, and shredded romaine lettuce.
Finish with toast, anchor with toothpicks, and cut in half.
Variation: Use a Panini press to prepare sandwich.
All-American Club Sandwich

2 tbsp. bacon bits or 2 slices of precooked bacon, crumbled

Toast bread slices.
