Hey y’all!! The weather is warming up, the sun is shining and that means we are all itching to get out there! Anytime it starts getting warmer I start dreaming of pulling out the grill and I can just imagine everyone hanging out enjoying the weather while I load the grill up with chicken, ribs, burgers and of course hot dogs!!
Judging by the forecast I can stop dreaming and bust that grill out of hibernation! With Mother’s Day right around the corner I wanted to set up a perfectly southern Mother’s Day feast!!
Of course you can’t grill out without some staples, burgers, hot dogs, deviled eggs and potato salad. So off I went to Walmart where I knew I needed some ketchup and mustard, also grilling staples. When I went to get our favorite Heinz Ketchup I noticed that right there they also had New Heinz® Yellow Mustard, yay!!!! So into the cart they went and off we went to test some Mother’s Day recipes!
Last year I made Chicken and Waffles Salad with Mustard Maple Dressing and it was amazing! I decided to make that same dressing for a Mustard Grilled Chicken Salad and a Mustard Maple Grilled Chicken Club. All perfect grilled recipes for a fabulous Mother’s Day.
I made a classic southern potato salad and deviled eggs to round out this meal, both of which use that awesome Heinz Yellow Mustard.
I love using this mustard in my recipes, it bring such a great flavor to all my dishes. It has a secret blend of spices and vinegar which gives you the perfect balance of flavor and tang! It is made with 100% natural ingredients including stone-ground mustard seeds which result in a fabulous mustard perfect for topping those burgers or making your deviled eggs pop!
Back to the chicken! I just drizzle my chicken with Heinz Yellow Mustard and sprinkle with pepper before throwing on a hot grill. I love the bottle Heinz Yellow Mustard comes in as it eliminates that weird mustard water that can come out if you forget to shake the bottle first, but now I don’t have to worry about that at all, this mustard is ready without the shaking!
This mustard grilled chicken is amazing on it’s own or in a salad or sandwich like I am going to show you!
Once the chicken is grilled you can slice it up and top a fresh salad with it and finish the whole shebang off with this amazing Mustard Maple Dressing which is so full of flavor, so easy to make and just delicious, it will be your new go to dressing!
For the clubs, I get a soft kaiser bun, put on lettuce, tomato and the mustard grilled chicken.
Then I drizzle the whole thing with the Mustard Maple Dressing.
Top with some crispy bacon!
And for one last zip of flavor I add a little mustard to the top bun, yum!!
This new Heinz Yellow Mustard is thick and rich and it doesn’t soak into your bun, so no soggy bread here!
