Hey y’all! I got some exciting news to share with you (well exciting if you are a candy fiend like me lol) M&M’s® Crispy are back!! I remember when they came around the first time and they were just fabulous! All that poppable classic M&M’s® chocolaty taste but with a light, crunchy interior that made them the perfect candy. Then they went away…. I remember my husband was soo disappointed when he could no longer find his favorite candy for our weekend movie binges (pre kids obviously lol).
NOW THEY ARE BACK, YAY! I heard whispers that they were coming back but was shocked when I was doing my weekly shopping at Walmart and spotted these babies in the checkout lane.
You can also get a larger bag in the candy aisle
Of course I snatched up as many as I could without looking like a mad woman lol!
On the way home while munching on a bag, (did you know the individual snack size bags only have 180 calories?!?) my food blogger brain was coming up with all sorts of amazing recipes these crispy little candies would be perfect in. By the time I got home I had already settled on M&M’s® Crispy No Bake Peanut Butter Cookies.
These are little cookies I have been making my whole life. It is a recipe from an old church cookbook and when I was younger I would make these all the time. I could not wait to combine these two blasts from my past together into one awesome cookie!
The recipe is super simple, just 4 ingredients and the M&M’s® Crispy.
In a large bowl have your 6 cups of cornflakes ready.
On the stove in a non-stick pot mix your 1 cup sugar and 1 cup corn syrup and cook on low until the sugar is all melted. Then add in the peanut butter and let everything get combined.
Working quickly gently mix the peanut butter mixture into the flakes making sure the cereal is all coated.
Spoon out heaping tablespoons of the cereal mixture onto a sheet of wax paper and top with a few M&M’s® Crispy.
Then comes the hardest part of this recipe, waiting for them to cool!! This takes about 30 minutes to an hour, then they are ready to be packaged in an airtight container for some yummy snacking!
Everyone loves these little no bake cookies and they are so easy to make which makes them a family favorite. Adding in the M&M’s® Crispy just takes these to a whole new level of yum!

How lovely! I’ve always made Honey Joys very similarly to these, but never thought to add chocolate! And could I substitute golden syrup for the corn syrup do you think? We don’t get corn syrup in Australia.
Thanks for contributing this post to The Sunday Brunch Magazine too.
All the best,
