Holiday Appetizers for less!

We have a big family and Thanksgiving can get a little crazy and expensive! Everyone shows up and starts smelling the turkey and the pies and they get hungry and start milling around the kitchen trying to steal a bite of turkey.
This year to combat that I knew I needed to put out more appetizers than just olives and pickles (family tradition).
So I headed to BJ’s Wholesale Club because I knew I could get some delicious appetizers without breaking the bank. Let’s face it we all would like to have a little extra money for Black Friday.

I am there every weekend it seems during the holidays. I can get everything I need for a fabulous budget friendly Thanksgiving meal, from turkey, to sides, even pies!

When I am busy cooking turkey, stirring gravy, mashing potatoes I do not have time to make a million appetizers. I love BJ’s party platters! They are delicious, easy and look amazing on the table! They keep my guests out of the kitchen and get me out of the kitchen faster so I can enjoy my friends and family.
I have some interesting stats I found about hosting Thanksgiving

You don’t want to be any of those statistics right? Just a quick trip to BJ’s and you won’t!
For this Thanksgiving I picked up the Wellsley Farms Shrimp Ring which is everyone’s favorite! It also came with the most delicious cocktail sauce! All I had to do was thaw it in the fridge overnight and it was ready for my guests the next day.
I also got a Wellsley Farms Cheese Cube Party Tray, which is always a classic and I love that they included pepperjack cheese which is a family favorite!
I couldn’t resist the Wellsley Farms Artisan Appetizers: apple fig brie bites, cheese and caramelized onion puff pastry tarts made with real cheese and chicken pot pie bites made from white meat chicken will keep my guests happy! They just need a few minutes in the oven and they are ready to hit the table!
I saved so much time I even had an extra few minutes to decorate the appetizer table. I love it!! And so did all my guests! I know I will be heading to BJ’s to pick these up again for Christmas Eve dinner since they were such a hit, and so easy!
