Candied Bacon BBQ Ribs

Hey guys!!! I have got another yummy bacon recipe to share with you this week!
I talked last time about how amazing delicious Wright Brand® Bacon is and how amazing bacon for dinner is lol!
I bought some Wright Brand® Bacon the other day at Walmart and wow what a difference it is than the regular bacon I have been making. Wright Brand® Bacon is thick and meaty and the flavor is just astounding, you can tell as soon as you open it that this is much more than your regular bacon. This bacon is hearty and flavorful and doesn’t shrink up to tiny little crunchy bacon bits like other brands. The best part? It was such a value at Walmart! Now I can have high quality bacon anytime I want (which is often lol)
Now I know bacon is usually a breakfast table staple, but sometimes breakfast likes to mingle with some rib for dinner.
Oh yeh, that is what I am going to share with you today, my easy recipe for Candied Bacon BBQ ribs. That’s right people, pork on pork. Pork on pork!
This is a really easy dinner I like to whip up. It is always such a quick meal for me when I know I will have a busy day. I know ribs don’t really sound like a quick meal but if I know I am going to have a busy day I can throw the ribs on low in a crock pot and let them simmer till tender while I get my work and errands done.
Then when the ribs are ready I jazz up some store bought bbq sauce with a little candied bacon! Soooo good!!
It is so simple to make and can take an ordinary dinner to the next level!
I just chop up some of that yummy bacon and crisp it up in a pan, drain it and return it to the pan.
The I add a little candied bacon and let that get all happy and melty and caramely.
Next I add in some of my favorite bottled bbq sauce and let everything get happy together!
Then I just slather that bacon bbq sauce all of the ribs!
Now at this point you can take those tasty ribs outside and finish them off on the grill, or if you are lazy like me, just pop them under the broiler for a few minutes, perfection!
