Hey y’all!! It is getting so warm out there!! Summer is right around the corner and it is already warm enough to run around outside without shoes on, pull out the grill and cook dinner while the lightning bugs flicker in the yard and of course that means all those fun summer holidays are right around the corner, Memorial Day is just next weekend!! Frank’s RedHot Buffalo is perfect for Summer. Check out their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich recipe and visit their site for inspiration.
My family is hot sauce lovers and I Put That $#!+ On Everything! Especially in the summer! Nothing like a little heat on your skin from the warm sun and a little heat in your mouth from Frank’s RedHot. Of course, we use it to make delicious buffalo wings, in fact, Frank’s RedHot was used as one of the ingredients in the first Buffalo Chicken Wing in 1964, meaning, if it ain’t Frank’s RedHot it ain’t buffalo!
Frank’s RedHot is the perfect combination of flavor & heat which is it is the most versatile sauce that can be used for a wide variety of dish types. We use it in recipes, on dishes, on eggs for breakfast or a drizzle on our salad at dinner, it can be used in so many ways. That is because Frank’s RedHot Sauce is the most kick-ass hot sauce out there.
We always keep a bottle of it at the picnic table for our cookouts. Today I am going to show you how it is the perfect ingredient in these easy sweet and spicy sandwiches that are perfect for Memorial Day or the 4th of July (or any day really). Firecracker Chicken Subs are the perfect quick sandwich for your summer get togethers, plus I mean with a name like Firecracker Chicken Subs you HAVE to serve them this Memorial Day (or 4th of July). While there are fireworks going off in the sky, you will have firecrackers going off in your mouth with this flavorful sandwich!
They are so simple to make! I just bake up some prebreaded frozen chicken tenders until they are nice and crispy. Meanwhile, I simmer together Frank’s RedHot Buffalo with some brown sugar until it starts to get nice and sticky.
Then I just give those chicken tenders a bath in that flavorful sauce and onto buns with lettuce they go.
And that is it! All there is to it! But believe me do not let the simplicity of this dish fool you, it is cram packed with flavor thanks to Frank’s RedHot.
