Grilled Pork and Potato Skewers
Sponsored by Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork. All opinions are 100% my own.
The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer and if you stand out on your porch in the evening you can catch a whiff of the first grills starting up for the season.
It is grilling season again!! There is nothing like spending your evenings grilling up a family meals while the kids run around chasing lighting bugs (and burning off a little energy thankfully!)
One of my favorite things to grill is pork and being born and raised and still living in Virginia, I know the best pork comes from Smithfield. They are my go to brand for all my pork recipes, and there is a good reason, it is the best. I always pick up my Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork when I’m grocery shopping at Kroger, where I shop every week, because they have such a great selection!
I have grown up eating and cooking pork so I am super comfortable with it in the kitchen. I know that pork can be intimidating to cook and that is why Smithfield has made it so easy with their already marinated pork loins, filets, tenderloins and sirloins. All the guess work is taken out, all you do is pick your flavor, open the package and grill! It’s a one-step meal making it perfect for those busy nights.
They have such fabulous flavors like Roasted Garlic & Herb, Roasted Garlic & Cracked Black Pepper, Slow Smoked Mesquite Flavor and Roasted Garlic & Cracked Black Pepper – you can have a different flavor every night of the week! They make the perfect easy weeknight meal, just open and throw on the grill! Just slice it up and serve it with some grilled veggies, or throw on a bun or tortilla, they make amazing grilled fajitas and are the perfect quick fix when everyone can’t stop asking “What’s for dinner?”
My kids love it when I grill up skewers, they think it is just the coolest thing so today we are going to make our favorite Grilled Pork and Potato Skewers. The Garlic and Herb Pork Tenderloin already has all the great flavor you need so I just toss some potatoes and red onion with a little garlic, pepper and parmesan and we are ready to grill!
I love these skewers because they are so quick to prepare and full of flavor! I serve this with just a simple side salad and it is a win every time! It is something a little different than the same burgers and hot dogs.
