3 Ingredient Butterfingers
So when I saw a recipe floating around the internet to make your own Butterfingers with 3 ingredients and one of them being the chocolate itself it caught my attention. Then I saw the other 2 ingredients were peanut butter and…… candy corn!?!? Well that was that I had to try them, whether they came out good or bad I figured melting down a whole bag of candy corn would at least be entertaining (p.s. it was lol). These came out great for me except I did not have parchment paper, wax paper or even foil to line the pan with (I know I know, what kind of baker am I?!) so I sprayed my pan with nonstick spray which worked okay, I still would have liked to have been able to pull the whole mess out of the pan and cut it on the counter but instead I had to cut it while it was in the pan which made then super uneven and a few of them cracked and crumbled but the inside really is flaky like a Butterfinger so it did make it difficult to get even cuts but they still taste awesome. We snacked on the broken pieces and I gave some to grandma to sprinkle on her ice cream.
No one could believe they were only 3 ingredients and the main one was candy corn. I knew that they probably would taste good but I never expected them to taste so close to the real thing, the flavor is spot on! The texture is a little different than a regular Butterfinger, but I actually prefer the homemade versions texture as it doesn’t stick to my teeth. I want to try to make a few homemade candies for Halloween and I will definitely make these again as they were a huge hit and they really took no time at all and are made in the microwave, it doesn’t get much easier than this recipe. Even kids (with a little help of course) can make these, they are that simple. I don’t know about you but Im going to stock up on clearance candy corn after Halloween because these would make great little gifts for the holidays!!

Yup, they taste just like it and even the color is dead on lol. The texture is not crispy like a butterfinger but I actually like the texture of the homemade ones better. Let me know how they come out :)
