Slow Cooker Cranberry Mustard Spiral Ham
Week four of our Thanksgiving Series and this week Dana and I are bringing you the main dish!! One from me and one from Dana! So you get two super yummy recipes for your Thanksgiving table! I am sharing the recipe for my delicious Slow Cooker Cranberry Mustard Spiral Ham.
This week we are doing recipes for the main dish portion of your Thanksgiving dinner. Now that usually is turkey and Dana has that covered, but my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is the ham. We always have turkey and ham for Thanksgiving and it is the ham that I can’t wait to eat.
Everyone get’s up super early to put their turkey in the oven and then the oven get a work out between that big turkey, all the sides, all the pies, the rolls and so on. So my solution on how to get your turkey and ham done is to put that ham in the slow cooker!
It warms through perfectly, it gets nice and tender and gets to just hang out in an awesome sauce while everything else is cooking. The end result is a fall off the bone tender ham with a sweet and tangy taste.
Now my favorite way to eat this ham is on a biscuit with a smattering of homemade cranberry mustard. It is just amazing! Not only do we have this for Thanksgiving but we also serve it for Christmas Eve and the leftovers for Christmas breakfast.
This recipe is very forgiving, add less mustard if you want, throw in some honey if you like, less cranberry, more pineapple juice, it is up to you. I am going to give you the recipe that I use.

This Ham looks absolutely amazing! I love Ham just about any way you can serve it but add the cranberries and slow cooker for ease and you have my name all over this one! Love it :) I’m featuring this @ Great Idea Thursday’s :)
Sounds delish! We’re all about the ham at holiday meals but I’m wondering how much ‘drippings’ do you get cooking it this way? Everyone in our family lines up for the fabulous ham gravy… Wondering if there’d be enough juices to make a gravy in the slow cooker. Thanks! :)
Made your ham today for Easter since I knew I would not be home in time from church to do it usual way in the oven. Everyone loved it! Even had people who said they preferred it to how it turns out from the oven. So easy! So delicious! Thanks much!
