There is nothing I love more an easy dinner and sometimes that means hitting up the drive thru!  Taco Bell is my favorite fast food place to hit so I love to make copycat recipes of my favorites!

I love Taco Bells Nacho Fries but they are always a limited time offer and only around for a little bit before they disappear again.  Then I’m left waiting for them to come back.

So I decided to recreate them at home and they have quickly become one of our favorite dinners.  They also make a great lunch or even side dish to taco night.

I like to cook the fries in the air fryer to get them super crispy while the taco meat cooks up and then that is all, dinner is done in minutes!!

I love that you can customize these, use leftover chicken, add jalapenos, you can even add bacon if you want, these are your nacho fries!

Can we also take a minute to talk about how budget-friendly this dinner is?  Everyone is feeling the pinch with the grocery bill right now and recreating your take out favorites at home is a great way to save some pennies.

Next time you want a family-friendly dinner even the pickiest kids will love skip the drive thru and make these nacho fries at home!

Notes

Because this is a fry dish it is best served immediately, leftovers would get soggy.

You can use ground turkey for this as well.

You can use any nacho cheese or queso you prefer, I like to use Ricos in a can.
You can also add a splash of pickled jalapeno juice to your nacho cheese for a little kick.

Top the fries with your favorite taco toppings like jalapenos, olives, salsa, hot sauce, etc.

I like to serve these in these little black plastic containers that look just like Taco Bell’s.
